child(ren) is precious.
As a father of a 5 year-old boy, I felt guilty that I spent too much time
fishing rather than interacting with him.
I am obsessed with fishing. Like one of fellow fishermen said, it is the
thing we do everyday. I play sports on Tuesday and Thursday all nights, and
go fishing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after dinner. On weekends, I go
out fishing at least twice. These leave me little time with |

Friday when the pickup truck in which he was riding flipped on a
highway.
Oliver Tomlinson was killed at about 1:30 p.m. in the one-vehicle
rollover, said Charlie Morgan, a Texas Department of Public Safety
spokesman. Tomlinson was 71.
The driver, Ronald C. McClain was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical

说起来这父亲节算是个洋节，在大洋的这一边，依然令人不可抑制的想起父亲。
说是想起，其实是想遗忘，遗忘最后一幕分别的场景。说是最后一幕，我其实是后来才
知，但我猜父亲那时是心中一片明白。不然他不会紧紧抓住我的手，不然他不会流出眼
泪。哦，眼泪，那是我第一次看到父亲流泪，当然你们也可以猜得到，那也是最后一次
看到父亲流泪。
当时很震惊，父亲竟然有眼泪！父亲竟然有脆弱的一面！我的第一反应就是想逃掉。我
不能接受哭泣的父亲，我不能忍受我心中父亲的形象轰然倒塌。
我从来没有见过父亲流泪，从来没有。即便是在艰难的湖南农村，即便是在人心叵测的
官场，从来没有。我印象中，父亲是军人，而军人是无所畏惧的。
或许有一天我也会理解父亲当时的心情：灵魂被躯体禁锢在病床，张嘴却不能发出任何
声音，或许在灵魂深处他依然是那个志愿军的排长，依然是那个挥斥方遒的学者，但在
那一刻，他只有无奈的看着儿子挣脱他的手指，逃出护理房外。我相信父亲一定是出于
亲情，而非是对死亡未知的恐惧。
的确，死亡是扇神秘的门。无数的人走进去，从来没有人推门而出，于是我们不知道那
