Yesterday the University of Texas System Board of Regents named Ronald
DePinho, MD, director of Dana-Farber's Belfer Institute for Applied Cancer
Science, as the sole finalist for the presidency of the UT MD Anderson
Cancer Center in Houston.
Under Texas state law, university governing boards must name finalists for a
presidency at least 21 days before making a formal appointment. The board
is tentatively scheduled to finalize the selection at a meeting in June.

Massachusetts General Hospital, boston, ma, Harvard Medical School teaching
hospitals), MD Aderson (TX), Sloan (NYC), .....首选准备好钱，一年20-30万美元
，可能更多。对于外国人，都是先交钱，再看病，去急诊没有用，不会给你提供长期治
疗。医院有翻译，所以语言不是问题。还要考虑住宿问题，看癌症是长期的事。Dana-
Farber附近的apartments可能5000美元一个月，想便宜就要开车。我在Dana-Farber看
病，医生比国内的好。 |

extracurricular activity。2月中旬在Houston完成CS。考完還在休斯頓豐田中心邂逅
了火箭隊的教頭Kevin McHale.
在过去两年之中，完成了U Toronto, Baylor, Mount Sinai, Yale之后, 這次来到

离毕业还有110天。
最近在Boston待了约五个月，圣诞回了趟上海，新年开始就一直在Boston复习CS和一些
extracurricular activity。2月中旬在Houston完成CS。考完還在休斯頓豐田中心邂逅
了火箭隊的教頭Kevin McHale.
在过去两年之中，完成了U Toronto, Baylor, Mount Sinai, Yale之后, 這次来到
Harvard Med。
2013年10月，同样是哈佛的附属医院，原来要去位于剑桥的Mount Auburn的ER急诊实习
，结果那边最近不接收学生，就去了Dana Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer
Center的骨髓移植科（Bone Marrow Transplant）。我的老师是American Society of

Colorectal Cancer主要手段是手术+化疗/放疗。这两个医院是博士屯地区有
Colorectal Surgery Fellowship的医院，尤其是Lahey Clinic，是全美国最好的三个
Fellowship
Program之一（其他两个Univ of Minnesota和Wash Univ in St.Louis). Brigham边上
有Dana Farber Cancer Institute，化疗上应该很好, Dana Farber不做手术。
其他大医院应该也可以，因为Colorectal Cancer是外科的大头戏。

癌研究医疗的大牛现在被MD Anderson 和sloan kettering这两家用钱挖得差不多了。
其他的像JHU不错，哈佛的Dana Farber中心也有不少能人。 |

集1万个签名还有点远。否则药厂不同意给他试用还在研制的药。他的病已经不能允许
