孕妇待产，大概还有3～4个月，一间房子即可，要住得离医院近一些。因为情况特殊，
需要卧床休养。如果家里有老人或者不上班的能帮忙端个茶送个水就更好了。老公下班
会来照顾。
来碰碰运气看能不能找到凑巧合适的。如果能帮忙照顾的话，可在房租上多加500～600。

比起那3个十分小学的gt容易不少。
考gt是小学1年纪的时候就基本决定了的，之后的插班要推的更厉害。
我们这大家都是在kindergaren和1年纪拼命补习的。要不然那个sunshine academy
补习班怎么那么火呀。
但最后大家竞争carson的gt的时候，就好象北京80中的和人大附的一起参加高考，虽然
大家都是市重点，但谁能上两校要看个人本事了。

发帖数: 33018 | 47 Fairfax一般4到6个小学Share一个GT Center。每个GT center至少是2个班。小学到初
中通常直接进入初中的GT center，不需要额外考试。
GT班从3年级开始。在1或者2年纪时有那种智力型的考试，分俩次（或者4次），（其中
一个是三次考试），每个学生都参加。这4个成绩至少要一个是130分，这个是进GT
pool的门槛分。这个门槛每年可能会有细微的调整。
3年纪以及以上转学过来，照样可以申请，有以前学校的老师推荐信，加成绩单，加各
类获奖情况，小孩作品等等。
第一次没取的，以后还可以再申请。
在校生的老师推荐很重要，要是老师不推荐，难度就很大。
除了智力考试成绩，你需要提出申请，要填一份表，里面你需要详细说明你家小孩如何
智力超群，看问题角度不一样，能力如何高等等。另外，你可以写一个家长的推荐信帮
班主任和GT评委了解你的孩子。
VA有个叫Sunshine学校，GT考试经那个它的那个班一辅导，一般一定会过GT Pool的要
求。
有想看我大儿GT成绩单的，我写的推荐信，我写的申请书，以及最后的GT录取通知书，

我觉得对NNAT和Cogat考试成绩帮助也没多大。
再说，考试成绩进GT pool，实在是太容易了。有个小学亚洲人比例较高，网上传说通
过率80%+。
要想做题的话，买本critical thinking出的building thinking skills level 1做做
就足够了。
周围的朋友中，反感Sunshine这种培训机构的不少，激进点的觉得它们其实是残害小孩
。1，2年级的小孩，有必要搞这种程度的应试教育么？
听说，Sunshine的组织者前几年可以提前弄到考试题，然后让学生先做一遍。其实就是
舞弊。
我不知道这种说法的真伪。我知道的事实是，Fairfax county教育局加强了考题的保密
性。往年全county的考题是一样的，而去年考试的题目，各校不一样。 |
