刚买的T420 DOS机第一次启动遇到如下故障:
pxe-e61:media test failure check cable
查了一下,看到装好系统的机器也有遇到同样故障的,不是DOS机特有的问题．
据说是硬盘cable没有连好．很多人说在本子硬盘处周围敲敲打打可以解决问题．
我敲了敲试试，没搞定，可能是不得要领．
把硬盘拔除来重新插回，反复几次也没搞定．
问问有人见过这样的么？如果正常的话开机应该看到什么？会进入DOS看到命令行提示
符？
请问用正版盘装Win7，就是把盘放入光驱启动就行了么？

以前的版本中有个不太方便的地方是即使单元已经设为“死”，
后处理中仍会画出来，不过可以自己在create display group
里面想办法将其屏蔽掉

当时在下雨，我在左边路上开，突然看见后面有警灯闪烁，想到右边停下来，但是前面
是一个红绿灯，我就开过了红绿灯，然后靠右停了下来。警察的态度挺不好，问我为什
么不停下来，说已经跟了我们一段路了。估计在我注意到警灯的时候，已经跟了我一整
子吧。不过我开车没有超速也没有闯红灯，应该是我注意到警灯的时候比较迟，追了我
一整子，很恼火我为什么不停车。看了驾照以后就开了罚单。就我自己来说，在看到警
灯以后，半分钟才停车，中间包括过一个绿灯的红绿灯。但是可能他的确在我后面亮灯
了很久，可是天气不好，我没有注意到。我没有违反其他的交通规则，看起来就是没有

只是failure to yield.我拿到罚单还傻傻的还问了一句“what is the problem with
me?”他说的大意是“难道你要我超过你么？你不知道怎么停车么？我从××就跟你了
（没听清楚，也不熟悉那边的路）”，还说了几句，没听懂。感谢国家，他没有把我拉
出拉按在地下，只是态度很不好的吼了我几句。看样子我的确反映的太慢了。
然后我做了一个U Turn去上高速，在一个红绿灯那边，看见了很疑似刚才那辆警车的警
车，天太黑看不见里面的警察的样子。前后就2分钟的事情，当时觉得有可能是同一辆
警车。就挺纳闷的，他说他是emergency vehicle，怎么也和我一样U turn，不去忙他
的emergency。不过不能确定是同一辆车也没多想。

发帖数: 1149 | 40 三周前刚买的13年Ford Edge AWD发现漏齿轮油（gear oil or differential fluid）
，昨天去当地的一家Ford dealer那一查才发现是Power Transfer Unit (PTU) failure
，要2000刀。
查了5年/60000迈的power train warranty包了PTU,但dealer说PTU坏是因为前后轮磨损
不同，前轮只剩40%，但后轮还有80%，因为这没有balance好才坏的，所以不包。另外
说要想以后不出现同样毛病，必须把4个轮胎全换了，外加800刀。
刚买不到1个月的二手车，就要花将近3000刀修，实在难受。想问下dealer这个拒绝保
修的原因合理吗？感觉前轮比后轮磨损的厉害很正常啊。
另外这个PTU defect是Ford Edge通病，已经有lawyer在collect这样的case：

i posted this a few weeks ago.
2-3 months new seagate external 1.5TB hard drive (7200.11) dropped from 2
feet high place carpet while it was being used. I took it out of the
enclosure but i cannot get the data back. Can I assembly the external hard drive and then still send it back to Seagate for repair/replacement or something else?

我第一时间就去下载升级成8.1
结果悲剧了
下载完，开始升级后
系统崩溃
现在系统完全不能启动
总是显示错误
ERROR:NO BOOT DISK HAS BEEN DETECTED OR THE DISK HAS BEEN FAILED
我试着做系统测试，硬件没问题（这是一台全新的HP电脑）
尝试着系统恢复，没有成功
现在咋搞？
各位大侠有何良策？

如果被问most significant accomplishments，难道就说自己最喜欢的一个research
project？还是说最复杂的一个project，但是是几年之前的？
还有，怎么回答failure呢？说project中曾经出现的讨厌的bug？还是说实现做实验之
后发现自己的idea不够好，然后又改进自己的idea，再实现做实验？

发帖数: 319 | 49 我的外公94岁了，end-stage renal failure (尿毒症)，脚肿(还没有到脸部和其他身
体部位)，心脏不舒服，无力。平时有高血压，大概是这个原因没有用雪液透析。
现在住在国内(上海)医院，医生提供两种方案：
1，保守疗法，估计最后是体内循环负担增加，心脏病发。老人要求无痛苦，但是心脏
病发的时候肯定是痛苦的。有什么方法可以减轻到最低。另外从心脏功能衰竭到最后，
估计有多久。
2。腹膜透析，但是不知道老人是否能经历手术(恢复期要2-3星期)，加上腹膜透析国内
是要到医院作的，身体能否每星期3-4次的折腾。
老人平时比较谨慎的人，所以怕手术怕痛苦(倒不是怕生命提早结束)，所以偏向1)。但
是1)的最后结果会不会比手术还痛苦呢？ |
