标 题: be extremely careful when you buy "new" kindle today

i saw many "perfectly repackaged" kindles from local Target store. the seal
is intact but the sticker looks fishy. I opened one in front of the csr, the
opening screen was an ad, while for a brand new kindle, it should be "
charge you kindle..." i had to return it and almost got kicked out from the
store. |

按道理18m一张raw，5fps正好是卡的速度90m/s，这说明D700的机身处理速度没有那么
快。
拍jpg的话，可以5fps无限连拍下去，看来D700其实用不到那么好的卡。 |

也就将就用了。
就在前几个月它不知道为什么读不出了，我就只好买了张60M的卡。D810到了之后我试
了一下发现又能读出来了，于是就准备暂时给D810用。
没想到今天拍试机片的时候又坏了，电脑和相机都读不出。我抱着试试看的心态在它插
在读卡器里面的时候用手捏了几下。居然就能读出来了……
这不是说明Sandisk的顶级产品品控也很差么，脱焊……本来还想买他家新一代的64G
Extreme Pro CF卡给D810用的，瞬间想转投Lexar了…… |

要么intel要么OWC Extreme Pro
2个的性价比都不怎么样，只能选一个相对性价比高一点的
240G SSD + 一个enclosure kit 可以把 原来的HD 拿出来当 mobile drive一共$495
性价比好， windows下口碑好的corsair F240和OCZ vertex 2似乎OSX下面bug一堆

挺好看，安装的时候术语不习惯，用了半个小时才弄明白是怎么回事儿。放在电脑桌上
，信号覆盖感觉一般，有的地方比3700好，有的地方差。双频都用上，Intel 5100网卡
可以连到300MBps，但是兼容性一般，ASUS的双频网卡就卡在54Mbps。都是支持WPA2作为
primary encryption的。Airport没有特别花哨的功能，有的功能都听实用，比如guest
network设计就不错。
性能很一般，和3700比差不少，不管是有线还是无线。
屋子的另一端买个Airport Express延伸以下，再到周末应该能寄到了。 |

Airport Extreme没有想象的好，我租一个70平米的房子，Airport放在一端，另一端就
五个满格的信号就只有两三个，iPhone也只有两格。基本上和WNDR3700差不多。 |

都没有重启过。最近这次firmware升级根本不用碰路由器，直接在iPhone上升级完成。
我很佩服苹果的设计。于是打算再买一个让老爸带回去。 |

2。觉得extreme's dual band and net drive 很吸引人。如果没理解错的话dual band
就是把带宽加倍'比如如果我原来两台机器一起看视频就卡'有了dual band就没问题了'
我理解的对么？
3。连external hard drive 的是我随便在网上买个大移动硬盘就行了么？然后我的所
有idevices 就have access to this net drive? 我就可以直接用iPad 看硬盘上的片
了？能把硬盘上的片加到iTunes 里后直接用apple TV看么？

1) Airport Extreme的dual band可以让你建立两个wifi网络——一个私密，一个公开
，这样我去你家玩，你就可以给我公开网的密码，而我就不能上你的私密网了。
2) Airport Express可以用作wireless router，而且信号蛮好的。它的另一个优势是
有AirPlay的功能，可以无线播放音乐。 |
