切割砂轮.
用rotary从摧化器那里把2个螺栓全部切掉,分离exhaust,装上换新的,30分钟就能干完

especially when the engine runs very lean, and TSI engines run much leaner
than regular engines.
所以开turbo车如果猛开一阵后不要马上熄火，要idle一会儿让turbo凉下来再熄火，否
则的话积存在turbo的机油会被烧掉（engine running的话机油不停流动反而不会被烧
掉）。这可能是很多人抱怨audi烧机油的原因。
但是柴油的exhaust温度要低很多，TDI的turbo比普通turbo的温度要低很多，所以这点
一般不成为问题。 |

intake manifold gasket and seal，exhaust system between engine and catalyst。这些应该在 100000/10 warranty 里。
你可以用MAF cleaner 清理 MAF，然后断开电池负极一会儿，清掉 code。 如果同样的
code又出来，就要换 catalyst 前面的 HO2S， 要是你的车超过60000迈，这个传感器最好先换了。 |

发帖数: 21830 | 10 acura用sohc是因为honda的都是正时独立可调气门，再用dohc有点画蛇添足了，用dohc
的一个很重要的原因是，intake和exhaust的timing可以通过调节cam实现独立可调。但
honda不但intake/exhaust独立可调，每个汽缸的气门都能独立调节。
honda的这个设计要领先很多。同样道理，很多车现在用timing chain, honda还在用
timing belt. 因为丫的正时不是通过调cam实现的，你比比真皮的质量还可以，谈技术

toyota的2.4L用timing chain的2AZ-FE发动机有设计缺陷,造成head gasket
往外漏coolant,基本上没法修复,只能换整个发动机.这个问题主要是highlander,
camry也有,但是比较少.
具体原因很久前有人在网上分析过,是exhaust manifold的heat shield位置安装不当,
造成发动机右侧靠风挡位置过热,使得铝合金发动机壳体产生热疲劳,最终造成靠近
这个角的一个head bolt在壳体上的螺纹孔粉碎,这样head就失去压力,coolant从
head gasket喷到外面来,当然,只有在开的时候喷,停下就不喷了.
如果这里也有2.4L timing chain的2AZ-FE发动机的,建议拆掉exhaust上的heat shield,
如果已经发生了要修复,得用thread insertion,光零件就要好像好几百块钱一套,1-2
年后又要复发,所以还是换掉整个发动机 |

你说的header，应该是指exhaust manifold吧？我之前换过bbk的，有影响，但不是很大。其实进排气单换哪个都不好。
从前到后，CAI，大的throttle body，throttle spacer，intake manifold，intake spacer，exhaust manifold，sports cat-converter/off road pipe（如果你的州没有排放要求），cat-back。最后最重要的，重新tune。
V6的换双出排气确实很帅，不过我觉得flow master比那个magnaflow的好听。不过GT的后bumper上有排气的cut，如果你不cut，一眼就能知道是V6，比如LZ的车。 |

2个月前注意到发动的时候尾气有很大烟雾，那时候冬天很冷，就是一大片白雾，有时
候有，有时候没有。天稍微暖和之后，那烟就小了，但是好像是带蓝色的。天暖和没有
，天一冷，就又有了。
后来机油灯亮了，加了一瓶（1qt)机油。现在又亮了。。。
问题是天一暖和，症状就消失了。我去dealer那里，dealer没有能repeat这个发动时
exhaust冒烟的问题。去一个私人车行那里，刚好天暖和，也没有重复这个毛病。但是
现在发动机漏油是肯定的。根据他们的说法，烟在exhaust那里，说明是发动机内部漏
油，不能完全燃烧，所以冒烟。这个问题很麻烦。打开发动机，维修最少2千。也不一
定能找到问题根本。根据发动机情况，花在上面的钱2-6千。。。我听了差点晕过去。
我自己在网上查，换什么valve seal什么的好像也没有那么夸张。车一定得修了，上星
期上一个陡坡冲后视镜看到狠斗黑烟（第一次），吓了个半死。难道我真的要花上几千
块钱？大侠们有没有修发动机的经验？修发动机漏油真如此麻烦吗？俺的破车BMW E83

这样的，这个cat里面的东西会melt down，如果发生的话不但会出cat code而且还会有
exhaust back flow，这个对引擎是有害的而且会造成动力下降、油耗上升的问题。如
果你不确定的话找个exhaust shop给你测一下。这个code除了过不了尾气没啥坏处，不
过要是有backflow的话还是把cat换掉的好，不然引擎搞坏了就得不偿失了。 |

我查到了code， P0420。 意思是Catalyst Effiency Below Threshhold (bank 1). 这
个code跟上回的code P0430差不多。上回是bank 2
估计是另外一个catalyst converter 坏了。 我看了warranty， sienna保converter 7
年 or 70Kmiles。
不过我有个问题， 看warranty 保的是converter， exhaust center pipe， exhaust
manifold，，其中没有谈到sensors的warranty。 如果是sensor坏了，是不是不cover
了？

破了这种话都说出来了,我靠,对了还有啥coolant有强烈汽油味?太搞笑了,
你闻到汽油味了吗?拜托进去coolant的是exhaust不是汽油.另外你的车一没
有奶油状机油,二没冒白烟,说明100%不是head gasket的问题.
那么为啥29k的时候会有head gasket更换的记录呢?我给你解释下,你的车新车
的时候就有这个问题,第一任车主修了无数次,一直修不好,把dealer也搞毛了,
它们肯定修了各种可能的问题,但是还是修不好,所以最后换了head gasket.
这就是有这个记录的原因.显然,换了head gasket,问题依旧,因为这不是head
gasket的问题.
你这个车的过热问题,是当年那代棒子车的通病,是ignition timing设计上的问题.
这个问题只发生在高速行驶后,高速行驶后由于ecu firmware设计问题,把ignition
timing提前角调得太高造成发动机过热,当然,棒子车厂不可能告诉dealer,因为说

发动机不出5分钟就冒白烟过热了
另外如果是head gasket的问题,这个bubble里面的是exhaust,不是汽油,我都不知道
你这强烈汽油味是怎么出来的,这个bubble是不是exhaust是通过仪器检查有没有氮氧
化合物来判断的,狗鼻子都闻不出来.
早跟你说了,你这个问题是那年段棒子车的通病,根本原因是某些情况下发动机低速运
转的时候ignition timing超前,造成过热,这毛病要根治,估计ecu都得换掉,算下来每
辆车要上千刀开支,所以棒子装傻以免recall
总之,棒子技术上还是差了点,虽然看上去不错,万一遇到这种连dealer都搞不明白的
问题,就完蛋了.所以能不碰最好还是不要碰

说必须要修好才能pass smog test。于是找朋友refer了一家口碑不错的修车铺。今天
把车弄过去，他们免费用电脑查了一下code，是P1071，给我说是什么system lean。我
完全不懂。然后说是什么air的问题，不知道多了还是少了，说得我一头雾水。然后说
这个code只能查出大致问题出在哪个方位，要最后诊断，还需要1－2个小时左右的时间
，诊断费用为$120。我说那我还得给老板请假，回头再预约。
我不知道这个检查费用合理不，修车行说，查出来什么问题，再看修好要多少钱。
车子是2002年Camry, 110K。check engine light亮了估计有4个月了，一直开着没有什
么大问题，就是高速(40 miles以上)踩刹车，车子和方向盘很抖。低速没事。
我上网查了一下P1071。貌似是臭名昭著的一个code。我能找到的code描述是

长话短说：
引擎灯总亮，开始是p2187(Fuel system too lean at idle - bank 1)
于是换了MAF sensor;
过了几天灯又亮，读code是p302（cylinder #2 misfire)，于是把spark-plug和cable
一起换了（当时看到#2的cable非常松，都突出来了，不知道怎么回事）
再过一两周灯还亮，读code是p300（random cylinder misfire)，出现有时候停车熄火
（得油门给点油） ...
下一步该如何？（如果自己可以比较容易做的可以考虑，要不然还是去车铺）
喷油嘴（fuel injector)?
oxygen sensor 影响不到发动机本身（idle时转速忽高忽低）吧？
PCV有关系不?

发帖数: 1501 | 38 冒黑烟可能是running too rich，但是我不太确定running rich的话会不会从发动机舱
冒烟。先检查下看看exhaust system是不是有漏的地方，如果exhaust system有地方轻
微的漏，会出现噪音大和抖动。如果是running rich，有可能是injector或者是
ignition的某个部件坏了，如果是这种情况，开的时间长有损坏Catlytic converter的
可能。不过一般要是ignition什么的坏了，会misfire然后会有check engine light，
如果你的check engine light没有亮，我觉得ignition的部件损坏的可能性不是太大。
我也是二把刀的修车水平，提供个参考…… |

发帖数: 6 | 41 小弟去年购入二手06 focus一台，目前只有53000 mile。因为一些原因这两三年每俩月
要往返单程400mile的city。
这车买回来没啥毛病，就是噪声一直挺大，拉到dealer检查，人让换exhaust系统里面
几个mufflers,给报价$1200。。感觉坑爹啊,去了还没开检，我提到噪声大,人就立刻说
估计是exhaust系统有问题，之后就让换还说的贼严重什么会漏一氧化碳就挂了。
求点拨，这种condition的车能撑2,3年这样开高速往返吗。年份是旧了点，mile数低，
有点鸡肋，还是小弟应该趁早脱手了？ |

订的是standard size car, 当时可以选择 Nissan Juke, Chrysler 200, Chevy HHR,

Jetta, 感觉不错, 当时觉得车内也很宽敞, 后来在美国也租过一次Jetta, 两万mile的
车, 一天开了250mile, 感觉挺好.
这是一辆2013 VW Jetta 2.5 SE, mileage 713, 新新的车, 看上去感觉很好.
出了机场很快就上了高速, 开去距离150mile的另一城市. 前一半路程一切正常, 过了
半程后, 我注意到车子有发出吱吱的声音, 但是很小, 开始我不太在意, 不过很快声音
就变大了(实际上的声音比我当时听到的大多了, 因为我当时关着窗户), 是那种非常尖

近都能走电线,turbo附近有啥不能走的?这和控制温度没啥关系.
电线和橡胶都可以tolerate不低的温度,只是在不同温度下的寿命不一样而已. |

发帖数: 1143 | 46 实在是太有喜感了。这个一嘴一个叔的大牛，换个driving axle拆了flex pipe不说，
居然还有一堆人跟在屁股后面叫好。大叔然后狠谦逊的指点了一番，俨然成了DIY大牛
了。不得不感慨一下牛人的自信心那不是盖的。不好意思，看了那电动的impact drive
和黄黄的purolator oil filter, 我实在不厚道的忍不住笑了。
赶着这两天天气暖和了，正好我也有个05的odyssey touring.两边的driving axle也都
漏油了，不是boot破了，而是绑住boot两头的strap松了，原装的俩driving axle,对于
168K miles的车来说,已经很不错了。advanceautoparts $80一根，用上$30coupon, 到
手$53x2. 过程就不累述了，标准流程，拆lower ball joint,拆nut, 把outer joint拿
出来，再把innner joint撬出来。不同的是，一根2feet的pry bar就解决所有问题，
driver side直接就撬出来了，passenger 一边要插进去敲的，几下搞定。实在没有勇

drive axle换过一些，Honda的有没有换过我也记不清了，但是我知道不同的车型有时
候差异非常的大，大到甚至A车无法借鉴B车，所以我就把05的odyssey touring换
driveshaft的manual贴上来给大家做个参考：
Driveshaft Removal
Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the
proper locations.
Remove the wheel nuts and front wheels.
Lift up the locking tab (A) on the spindle nut (B), then remove the nut.

I fixed radiator, spark plug, fuel line, air conditioner, door handle,
muffler, CV joint, exhaust pipe (the front part), coolant tank, rebuilt
alternator, brake pad, brake shoes, brake master cylinder, tires, wind
shield, windshield wiper, transmission.
That is just what I remembered on top of my head since this is 10 years ago.
If I can afford to sell it and buy another one, I would but the car is such

Pentastar V6 3.6L于2010年问世，是Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge主力V6发动机，也是2011-
13年Ward best 10 engines，可见Chrysler还是狠下了一番功夫的，也敢把鸡蛋都放到
一个篮子里。如果你的车是这三家V6 2011年之后的，那很可能是这款发动机，包括Ram
, Grand Cherokee，Grand Caravan, Town & Country, Charger, Wrangler, Durango,
Journey, 200, 300, Avenger, Challenger, VW Routan。Pentastar主要是3.6L，
2014年后出现了3.2L和3.0L（中国）版本。
