给我两个选项：1） 去店里做个estimate，2）用他们的 app 拍个照片，上传给他们，
他们有contract appraiser 给estimate，然后可以立即给我钱。第2个选项倒是挺方便
，就是不知道他们的 appraiser 会不会使劲压价，给的estimate 不公道？

水造成的，但不知道什么地方（表面看不出来）。现在请了plumber来，有几个问题请
教。
1 是像其它维修一样，要找不同的人来estimate吗？一般要diagnosis费用吗？还有我
的理解是要打开dry wall才能检查。我听到的是他们管打开不管安装会去。这样就晾在
那，等其他人再来estimate？
2 在angie's list上找到一个按小时收费的plumber，和estimate的相比，这样好还是
不好呢？
3 如果要换part（例如faucet）自己备好好，还是就用他们的。

fellowship， federal tax和state tax 都没有withhold，但是我去年拿到了绿卡，所
以不能再用treaty 免税，需要付estimated tax。然后我老公给他爸妈管出租房也有一

了纽约州的税，没有康州的税。直到今年报税，才发现纽约会返税，康州要交税，而且
交的税超过1000刀。去年并没有弄estimated tax，所以会有penalty 和interest 的说
法吧，但我并没有收过任何账单亚。
另外如果file 明年的estimated tax，是不是每个季度都要填一次1040ES?

counter 到1.20，我没接受。过了4天后房子卖给了另外一个人redefine estimate到了
1.35. 过了10天又变成了1.27
我还有很多其它类似数据在手上。如果上述这种情况算是正常的话，好吧，我觉的这种
estimate对我没什么用 |

果length estimate一直fail，浪费了很多时间，最后还是不行
试了.docx 和97-2003 documents，都不行。不知道怎么回事。格式应该没问题，因为早上第一次很快就生成了6页多的PDF，后来仅仅删了几行
大家有碰到类似情况吗？这个length estimate真的很变态 |

The two parameters to be estimated are Vmax and Km,
Using catalyst 1, we estimated Vmax=4.2 with Standard Error 0.01 (This is
automatically given by software)
Using catalyst 2, we estimated Vmax=3.6 with Standard Error 0.02
How do we test the hypothesis that Vmax is the same using catalyst 1 and
catalyst 2 ?

covariance matrix. However, the estimator of MOM is not always positive
definite due to sampling variances. One remedy is to trim the part
corresponding to the negative eigenvalues off. But my boss does not like
this, because this looks weired to him. Is there any other remedy here that
ensures the estimator to be positive denifite?

+ $2.5 residential surcharge for shipping weight of 30LB. Fedex charged me

-4个月完成。老中都是7-15天。
为什么会这么样呢？那些老美可都是信誓旦旦的说这已经是最快了的，而且有个还叮嘱我说要提防那些给我估<1month的contractor。他们做工肯定很糟糕，或者最后还是拖到超过一个月。

发帖数: 61 | 46 很多F1炒股的金额比较小，所以很多人可以不在1月15号pay estimated tax。
必须pay estimated tax的两个条件是：
1. 你如果在扣除withholding and credits后还需要补交$1000以上的tax。
2. a. withholding and credits少于2009需交税的90%；
b. 或者 withholding and credits 少于前一年(2008)的已交税。
只要以上任何条件不被满足，就可以不必单独填写1040-ES。
如果不放心，大家可以详细阅读pub 505的19-25页，估算一下自己的税。然后减去在工
资单里自动扣除的税和credits（你如果有的话），如果还要补交$1000左右，那基本上
就需要填写1040-ES,并且在1月15号前付清。
我是青蛙。前几天看到有大虾说有个deadline，很紧张。赶紧研究了一下，在这里分享
。要说明的是，任何说法以pub为准，我只是翻译了一下，出了问题不要找我。 |
