of products with a physical MOLAP engine. MS Analysis Service and Oracle
Hyperion Essbase are the two most prominent
ones. Essbase is a much more pure MOLAP. Both support the rather popular
query language MDX.
SAP BW is another one but it is pretty much tailored for its apps. Oracle
has another in database product call Oracle OLAP option, but it is suffering
from an obscure language.

This thread seems to be more about a front-end mdx-based MOLAP.
There are logical MOLAP and physical(storage wise) MOLAP.
A physical MOLAP is well suited to build apps where you have a well defined
and finite space to perform analysis.
The good thing is that measures can be fully computed and stored for the

但具体比较起来还是差远了. 原来对HFM还是抱点希望的.不过现在SAP内部的数据库都
换成IBM DB2了. |
