两个是药厂的,都在加州,amgen vs. genentech. 当然从工资来说，后者高，毕竟地方
和前者比起来生活消费要高很多。我觉得两家公司差不多，offer的position也是一样
的，不知道从长远发展来看，包括工作环境，氛围，哪个会好一点呢？
另一个是一个研究中心的research scientist的职位，当然从工资来讲不能和前两个比
，不过会不会相对稳定一点呢，毕竟现在药厂都比较不景气，就是statistician也有被
layoff的风险。而且研究所如果进去的话做得东西也比较熟，地方也还行。我不是一个
想做faculty的人，就想找个工作轻松稳定点，收入也还行的工作。research
scientist的好处就是不用自己申请funding,这方面压力小很多。

才废除的），美国妇女获得投票权还没多少年，大概国会里没几个女议员。她是历史上

While a significant number of citizens in Islamic or Muslim countries are
directly hostile to Europeans, Chinese are usually just after your money. It
is unbearable to live the rest of your life in a country where there is a
constant and an overwhelming danger of being “Shanghaied”. My stepmother
