我的祖母是广东人，所以全家在90年代移民美国。我们当时住在波士顿唐人街一间没有暖气的房子里。我们家和我姑妈家六口人挤在一个老鼠，蟑螂成灾的2-bedroom apartment里。我的父母的许多朋友也是新移民，他们不会英文，很多在国内也没上过大学，生活在社会的底层。那是一段我人生不愿意回首的日子。后来，为了报答我父母对我做的巨大牺牲，我发奋读书，后来靠奖学金，助学金顺利地完成了学业，而且我整个大学期间没有向我父母要一分钱。我记得我上高中时，有一次我在Filene Basement看到了一件25美元的蓝色的jacket，非常想要。妈妈足足犹豫了好几分钟才跟我买。后来那件衣服我在Boston穿了5个冬天，直到我后来自己挣钱买了一件外套。现在，我回想那段日子都觉得恍然梦中。

上班的电脑不算，我自己的电脑自从Ｎ年前开始就只用linux了。结果今晚我根据
wiki上给出的命令做了个测试，结果我的这个比较新的某linux distribution也有问题
，当然，目前所有没有patch的linux系统应该全都有问题。。。
我记得很早的时候,unix上default的shell是sh,csh, tcsh这样的shell, bash是后来随
着linux才开始流行起来的，现在需要看看这次这个bash的漏洞，那个env variable使
用上的漏洞，是从bash最初版本就有的，还是随着linux从linux的open source阵营带
进来的，什么时候带进来的具体check-in,我还没更多阅读，冒昧臆测的话，不知是否
如同上次那个heartbleed，也有可能是人故意埋的bug，上次那个heartbleed是个德国

some background, for those who are interested.
First, the Kubiak lab is about as ethnically diverse as could be imagined.
There are currently students working in the lab who have Filipino, Japanese,
African, Vietnamese, Indian, South American, and African heritage, among

且都是学术圈的，已有reference一堆，其中一份是著名的兰德公司的报告。
另外，美国和澳洲已立法限制使用脑波扫描仪，拿脑波扫描仪扫本国公民已是联邦法的
重罪。不过这个比较难的是你无法证实谁接收了你的脑信号。所以立了法跟没立一个样。

Not really. It's simply a natural outcome of believing or at least
preaching the philosophy that the black people's problems were caused by the
environment they live in. So if you move them out of that environment,
according to that philosophy, they would no longer have those problems.
Even if this line of thinking has valid points, you would have to really
carefully screen who you bring out of that environment so they don't bring
