1. Title: GL and Stock control accountant
Company profile:
XXX Petroleum Group is one of the largest private petrochemicals companies

including storage and terminals, wholesale, oil and gas exploration, marine
bunkering and international trading.
XXX Petroleum is engaged in overseas business development, including
international oil product trade, overseas oil exploration, business
development and participation in international oil market operation. Due to
our business expansion, we are seeking high calibre and dedicated
professionals to join us in a dynamic and challenging environment as
Accounts Receivable and Credit Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform closing of the monthly accounts in a timely and accurate
manner.
• Generate and analyse monthly financial statements for the legal
entity in USA
• Review earnings and provide variance explanation (actual vs plan
& actual vs previous)
• Assist in preparing the monthly presentation deck in regards to
PNL (actual vs plan), working capital and analysis of costs.
• Reconcile earnings with front office to ensure completeness and
accruacy of data.
• Perform Inventory reconciliation from book balances (in SAP) to
physical balances from terminal and barge operators.
• Prepare monthly audit schedules and provide support to holding
company for any queries during audit
• Reconciliation of sales and purchases in SAP against the manual
reports.
• Perform Forex revaluation
• Liaise external auditors for interim and annual audit purpose
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, preferred
• Proficient in MS office product (Excel), SAP
• Ability to manage daily/monthly/quarterly duties with on-going
projects and communicating the status of assignments.
• Ability to work with others to accomplish departmental goals and
implement process changes. Demonstrate teamwork inside and outside immediate
area of responsibility.
• Ability to communicate well with front, mid and back office.
Listens attentively, seeks to understand others viewpoints, and tests for
understanding.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment with a
focus on incorporating sound credit risk management in all Commercial
trading transactions.
• Industry Knowledge - good working knowledge of the energy trading
and supply business from the front-to-mid-to-back office best practices.
• Experience in effective partnering with counter parties/operation
/front office teams
• A self-motivated person with strong analytical skills and ability
to adapt in fast-pace environment.
• Experience with enterprise Trading and Financial systems and
ability to manage data in a multiple systems environment.
2. Title: Audit & Tax Accountant
As Audit and Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for local and
international tax advisory & compliance aspects, and managing internal audit
for USA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Co-ordinate and perform Internal Audit
• Inventory Cycle Count Audit
• Liaise with key external and internal counterparties and tax/
audit firms
• Identifying and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of
controls designed to address business risks.
• Performing data analysis to support risk assessment and control
evaluation.
• Providing practical, innovative, and value-adding solutions to
issues identified
• Ownership of managing the tax accounting & compliance processes.
• Prepare tax computations, ensure tax compliance, manage tax audit
and negotiations with local tax office.
• Ensure efficient processes are in place and adhered to with
regard to tax provisioning (documentation), deferred taxation, effective tax
rates, tax cash flow forecasts.
• Provide advice on all taxation issues relating to operations and
tax impact on business decisions.
• Liaise with regional offices on tax issues and tax audit.
• Actively partnering the Finance team responsible for local
statutory accounts in areas of tax reporting and disclosures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Recognized Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of corporate tax experience, preferably gained
with MNCs in the oil & gas industries
• Strong knowledge of current accounting rules and principles
• Solid financial and business acumen and strong research and
analytical ability
• Knowledge of international income tax is advantageous
• Positive attitude towards constantly undertaking new challenges
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
in English and Mandarin
3. Title: Banking Relationship and LC Accountant
As Banking Relationship and LC Accountant you will support trading team with
LC’s, working capital and cash flow activities. You will be required to
work with internal and external parties on financial matters. You will also
be responsible for the coordination of all activities related to banking and
financial risk management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling the operational Treasury & overall Cash flow management
– LC’s, drawdowns, remittances, trade transactions, treasury
reconciliations, collections of sales
• Close coordination with front office and functional team like
credit risk
• Liaise with key external counterparties and banks
• Ensure efficient financial process and system to support LC,
working capital and cash flow activities
• Responsible for the assurance of adequate liquidity to facilitate
the company's operations
• Provide focused and specialized advisory services to markets in
terms of money market conditions and net financing cost planning
• To coordinate with local banks, on financing market operations
and obtain the most efficient cost of capital
• Review and evaluate existing cash management structure of each
market to optimize resources
• Ensure compliance with external regulations and involved in ad-
hoc projects to improve processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Financial degree or equivalent with 5 - 6 years relevant working
experience with good finance knowledge
• Sound knowledge of bank products and global financial markets
• Proficient in MS office product (Excel), SAP
• Trading or banking industry experience is essential
• Relevant working experience in different LC’s is required
• Experience in effective partnering with counter parties/operation
/front office teams
• A self-motivated person with strong analytical skills and ability
to adapt in fast-pace environment
• Possess good working attitude, pleasant personality and
comfortable to communicate with colleagues of all levels
• Bilingual in written/spoken English and Mandarin | z******g
