人，一般情况，医保的enroll是每年open一次，这个open
enroll时间内，你可换保险、增减成员等等。但是有特
殊情况，比如离婚、结婚、家庭其他成员因失业等原因丢了
原来的保险、小孩子出生等情况，都可以随时enroll，至于
老婆孩子从国内来美国，算不算特殊情况，你得问管这enroll
的人，而不是保险公司，当然保险公司一般会有一个接受这些
特殊情况的时限，比如这些情况出现的一月或两个月内，你必
须提出申请，否则就只能等下次enroll open了。至于你得到的
信息说是老婆孩子必须呆到6个月或1年，这个太不靠谱了，当然
你要是因自己的原因而错过了enroll open的时间，也错过了
特殊情的理由，中间再想加上就很难办了。 |

因为8月我activate卡的时候，当时客服也说帮我enroll了，我就没查账户，直接去买
机票了，结果后来发现我的账户根本没有enroll那个5%！只好又打了几次电话去要机票
的5%，反反复复折腾了好几次，最后总算有个客服经理给我账户里打了钱进去，算是补
给我了。其实还应该有一两次加油的5%也被黑了，算了就不折腾了。。。
所以这次我让客服给我一封注册确认，没想到客服说他只能告诉我他的名字和ID #作为
证据。。。在我要求下，他问了我邮箱（他们应该能看到的吧？），说会给我发一封确
认邮件。。。还不知道能不能收到。。。真是服了他们了。。。
9月发现账户没有enroll的时候，我自己在账户里enroll了，然后就收到了注册确认邮
件。看来人工enroll就没有确认。。。

assistance的问题，收到的回答是我们是F状态的学生不能申请任何medicaid。而且F2
必须到美国就必须买dependent的保险，还让我们把2月以来的保险全给补上。问过一些
以前的同样状况的朋友，有些F2根本没保险，也有怀孕申请medicaid成功的。于是朋友
说不在乎绿卡就继续申请，别理boynton。
之间county发了一张insurance information的表，要employer填，boynton一见此表就
说不能帮我们填。并且威胁如果他们报告政府，最严重可使visa失效，遭到驱逐。而后
我去county说学校不给填，county的人很好说其实只是要证明申请人没有保险就可以了

这周到EVUS给他俩Enroll。在EVUS网站看到A Successful EVUS enrollment is

1、以前公司扣的FSA的钱，如果没有Claim过是不是就全丢了？
2、到了新的公司是不是可以重新申请FSA？在Enroll之前发生的医院帐单可以用来
Claim新Enroll的FSA吗？
3、如果第二问题的回答是Yes，那前一个公司已经Claim过的金额是不是要从新Enroll
的FSA金额里扣掉？我的意思是说比如FSA Health Care可以放入5000块，我有一张5000
的医院帐单，但是在原来的公司Enroll的时候预计不足只写了1000块，用这张帐单已经
Claim了1000，然后到新公司我还可以重新Enroll FSA，然后用同一张帐单去Claim，这
个时候是不是在新公司里只能Enroll 4000块FSA？

February, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced on
Tuesday.
The administration remains optimistic it will see a surge of enrollees prior
to the March 31 enrollment deadline. HHS said an “action-forcing” event,
like the end of an open enrollment period, “often results in a spike in
enrollment activity.”
