官。它是不同的培养体系，与我们这种招兵的是不一样的。你要做军官，有二种办法。
比如说你的学习很好，大学入学考试（SAT）考分很高，高到你可以被斯坦福大学或哈
佛大学录取，如果你不想当一个平民百姓好学生，他可以申请去Navy Academy，就是美
国的海军军官学校，在马里兰州的安那坡利斯（Annapolis，MD），那里专门训练高级
海军军官。在那所学校里，学生不仅学习平常的知识，还要学怎样打仗，学的东西比哈
佛更广更多。他们从那里出来后，就成为Commissioned Officer，就是军官。

除了练军人的步伐，我们还要学习敬礼。这个不难，你只要把胳膊举起，跟肩膀平行，
然后手心斜着向下，五指并拢指向额头就行了，就是这个样子。教官们会教你姿式，你
学会就可以了，这个不用天天训练。但是敬礼的规矩比较多，你必须记住。你见了
Officer，就是军官，你必须敬礼。Enlisted之间不需要互相敬礼，只有见到军官才必
须敬礼，军官也要回礼。
但是是这样，比如说他是一个军官，我看见他从那边走过来，因为他的军衔比我高，所
以我必须先向他敬礼，他后敬礼，就是还礼。而在放的时候，他要是不先放，我就不能
放，我必须等到他放了以后，我才能放下手。我不能说他还没放，我先放了，按照美国

有任何“废奴”壮举，反而小心翼翼地维护着自己作为奴隶主的地位。

Recruiters to Accept Gay Applicants

applicants, following a federal court decision striking down the ban on gays

his several sons to help him win over potential voters last time, possibly
because the sons were mostly also quite good looking. Not sure if that
