usually resolve after 3-4 weeks, with patient still being thrombocytopenic
and abnormally enlarged spleen of course you wonder if there is something

patient. In general, lymphadenopathy (enlargement of lymph node) can be
caused by infectious or non-infectious causes. If no abnormal values
present on initial lab test, time can help to differentiate the two, since
infectious cause is often short-lived. Non-resolving lymphadenopathy shall
warrant further testing, which often involves biopsy of the lymph node to
rule out cancer. |
