海归人士大谈国内比国外如何如何好，其实这个“好”也蛮因人而异。我就觉得国外有
如下几点国内没法替代：
1. 外文书。我这几年从未接触过一本中文书：近代出版的无论学术、生活、励志等中
文书都很垃圾，偶不愿意看。宁可看买卖提的灌水文章都比中文书来得好玩，更生活。
国内的书店基本都是卖中文书，原版书也就一些古典类的比较容易找到，新的
bestsellers几乎没有，学术类的更不用说了，n年以后才会引进一些经典的影印版。
没有好的精神食粮，生活的乐趣就要失去一大部分，回国就是意味着和优秀精神资源的
隔绝。
2. 画展、音乐会、歌剧音乐剧等娱乐资源匮乏。北京上海有不少，但是一点不平民：
价格贵的出奇，纯粹国外乐团来敲诈中国人的。不像在美国，随便想听个音乐会，看个
戏剧，跟吃米一样简单、廉价。我甚至不用专门去音乐厅，经常同学几个排三重奏、四
重奏就约我过去听。

本人住在非Atlanta地区的Deep South。去纽约住了9天，感想颇多啊！
到了纽约，最大的感觉就是像回到了国内。人多，要靠公共交通，市容脏乱差。以前感
觉海归版的讨论关于国内和美国待遇的对比是很无聊的，因为当时觉得中国和美国是两
个完全不同的style，喜欢哪种就选择哪种就是了，没必要讨论待遇。而到了纽约，才
发现，原来纽约和国内是如此的像，至于选择在纽约还是海归，待遇几乎成了唯一的标

大家不要骂我，纽约的生活质量比起deep south来还是低不少的。先说大家能上网看到

50k-70K，这个钱在deep south各州都能买很大的独栋house了，还不是很差的区。再说

下午接到G家猎头的电话，给offer了。听着猎头的祝贺，我在这头哭了。
自己骑驴找马，投A,G完全为了配合LD。可是LD前两天刚刚接到拒信，他在CA的
jobhunting已经全军覆没了。加上早就把他拒掉的M，我们在西雅图和硅谷团聚的美好
计划彻底泡汤。LD手头比较接近offer的职位都在中部，而我人在纽约。不管接受A，G
任何一个offer，或者继续现在的工作，我们之间的距离只能更遥远...
四年了，不想再两地了...如果一定有人要牺牲一下的话，那还是我来吧

发帖数: 60932 | 44 Fry's has the KDL-46ex720 for $699, appears to be brick and mortar only,
probably through the weekend. Solid price for a decent tv. I did spend some
time watching some blu-ray concert footage, and it looked pretty good. The
sound however is really bad, no bass and it doesn't get very loud. There
were some settings that helped audio but plan on getting a sound bar for
sure.

quite a few good items that are 25% off and are good value (e.g. Epson 8350
projector $999 sale $799 BF sale, Chase UR $749).
There are some other items that are really good and are > 25% off. That's
the purpose of this thread. I am going through Chase's severely slow site
to see what I can find. Feel free to update with your finds too. Some good
