体系中的相关职位汇总对应一下，希望对以后无论海归的还是来美访问的，有点帮助。
这里的“对应”，是指的”equivalent”, 就是从“权”“责”的角度，平级的意思。
比如国企的科长对应私企的经理，处长对应总监，这种对等关系。另外，在说职位对等
时，一个重要的衡量指标就是实际中拿来交换，大多数人觉得合理，没有吃亏。比如一
个国企的科长去一个同等规模的私企做经理，属对等，级别没有降低。本文是基于这个
原则做的对应关系。
中国：
国内的人才称号名目繁多，有：院士，千人计划，长江学者，杰青（杰出青年基金获得
者），地方学者（如湖北的楚天学者，山东的泰山学者，辽宁的海天学者，等等），青
千（青年千人），优青（优秀青年基金获得者），拔尖青年（青年拔尖人才计划），新
世纪优秀人才等。
国内的主流教职系列：教授（分四级，一级教授 到四级教授，一级最高，四级最低）
，副教授，讲师，师资博士后。研究员系列与特聘教授不属于主流教职系列，暂不考虑。
在国内：
一级教授：一般是院士，或者卓越的大千人。

Swensen在美国是和Buffett齐名的人物，管理Yale的endowment fund,23
年使这个基金增加了200多亿美元。Swensen管理endowment的方法独创一格，
写了两本书，也在Yale教书。
张磊就是把Swensen的方法用到中国的市场。2005年回国搞现在这个fund，
Yale当时出资3000万美元，现在管着25亿美元资产。
所以现在他回报Yale近九百万很是正常。不过也做一个揣测，他这次捐款，
也许是为了争取去管理国内大学的endowment fund。
不过不知道Swensen本人是不是爱做类似的慈善，或捐助。 |

十万美刀上private school的学生，将来成功的机会也大一些, 富二代拼爹再哪都一样
）. 而endwoed professorship 会比用operational fund支付的 regular full
professor 的工资高不少。所以私校为了搞平衡，也会相应地提高 regular full
professor的工资，因为需要用operational fund养的人由于endowment也少了。在
assisant profession 这级，压根就没有endowment 的影，所以私校就没有动力去给AP
们加钱。

美国大学排名只有一个硬指标，Endowment per Student/Alumini。这个排行榜上前面
的都是Ivy+ND+Stanford这类一流私校，远远甩开公立，然后是二流私立，然后是小
liberal art+小college，然后才是公立，这也基本说明大学的实际地位。（就好像
GDP per capita用来衡量一个国家生活水平，拍前面的全是北欧小国，公立好像中国印
度这种全后面歇着，虽然他们的GDP总值不低，但是per capita就狗屎了）
私立大学球打得好的就是USC, ND, Miami，以前有个SMU/BYU，近几年Stanford，Duke
还算可以，但跟ND差远了。
你去查查ND的学生数量跟endowment fund，比USC endowment per capita多六倍，USC
可是有Vitterbi的高通输血的. 每到比赛多少米国精英(either天主教徒 or ND

school里面full几乎都是endowed，一般的学校可能会少些。其他学科应该不是这样，
没有冠名的full professor可能比chair还多。 |

Those elected today bring the total number of active members to 2,179 and
the total number of foreign associates to 437. Foreign associates are
nonvoting members of the Academy, with citizenship outside the United States
