漏了一个 inks lake state park, 很漂亮， 设施也不错， 适合family camping.
lost maple 和 inks lake 是我最常去的。
Enchanted rock 蛮好玩的。 可以沿着石头缝爬到底然后从背后陡峭的岩壁爬上来。
但那里响尾蛇比较多， backpacking 要当心。 |

发帖数: 593 | 7 早就向往Hill County了，趁孩子春假，查了天气，请假出发。
周一天气不佳，走走停停，一路上感受和休斯顿截然不同的地貌，下午才到位于
Kerrville的旅店。这个YO Ranch倒是值得多说几句。我是前一天晚上在Priceline上订
的，连税总共$60。赶到那边还是大吃一惊。大堂布置相当有德州气息，简直是一个袖
珍展馆。大堂门口是一辆旧式马车，大堂里有百年前的德州服饰和枪械，墙上到处是牛
头羊头，还有一只完整的熊的标本和半个长颈鹿！
当天晚饭就在旅馆斜对面的Cracker Barrel解决。这个连锁餐馆也很有特色，入口就在
旅游纪念品商店里。餐馆里的布置也非常有特色，挂满了各种旧时日用品的包装和日常
工具。领座的居然是一位年过七旬的老太太！那里的食物也是价廉物美，强烈推荐！
第二天一早出发，向Enchanted Rock SP进发。沿途山路上上下下，穿过
Fredericksburg，行车约45分钟后到达公园门口。与周围的土丘不同，这是一块巨大的
石头，坡度不大。远远望去，已经有五颜六色的游客在往上爬了。孩子们也很兴奋，自
己爬上山顶。极目远眺，令人心旷神怡。

Wednesday afternoon in north Harris County, according to Harris County Pct.
4 deputies.
The incident happened at a home in the 700 block of Leaflet in the Enchanted
Oaks subdivision.
Deputies responded to a shooting and found the victims. Life Flight was
called to the scene.
The victims were ages five to 40. Five children and one adult died.
The shooter led police on a chase that ended just a few miles from the

Texas Hill Country 是位于德州中南部Austin和San Antonio附近的一块区域，由25个
county组成。这个地区的特点就是所谓的喀斯特地貌，又称岩溶地貌。雨水和地下水对
石灰岩长期的溶解侵蚀，形成了地表岩层千沟万壑的特征。在喀斯特地貌下往往存在
地下河、地下湖和溶洞等景象。Texas Hill Country更奇特的地方，在于喀斯特地貌下
还存在花岗岩的地质形成。
劳动节周末，带Dallas的摄影协会去了一次。因为是摄影为目的，各种漂游溶洞野生动
物园就跳过去了，直奔最艰苦的各景点。2天内顶着100度的高温，备着50磅的器材，跋
山涉水十数里，现在我是浑身酸痛，想死的感觉都有了。

发帖数: 45 | 15 Willow City Loop是Hill Country看野花的一个著名景点。如果从Austin出发，沿71开
过去，一路有很多野花。中午可以在Coopers BBQ吃午饭，不过可能会排长队。回程可
以沿29，转经Inks Lake State park回Austin。又或者到Enchanted Rock玩。
Dallas附近的Ennis有大片的野花，时间一般比Hill Country晚1-2周。
Brenham的野花一般在4月的第一个周末开的不错了。 |

我们昨天开了2个小时，到的时候才11点多，然后就关门不让进了，说是没有停车位了。
而且我看网上写的旅游旺季经常这样搞。
后来我们就又开了40来分钟，去了Ink Lake State Park，一路上到处都是野花，公园
里风景也还不错！
所以最近周末有去的，最好提早，估计10点到应该进得去！ |

出发地点: Frederick Watershed Hamburg Road parking lot; 39.515828,-77.492119
， 从270 15号出口到停车场大概30分钟。
路径:从parking lot 沿着Blue trail往南，左转上rusted bug；过马路到
Knucklebuster到Blue往北，过Enchanted Forest，穿过一个小池塘，沿Buck Flats回
到停车地点。大概 5 mile。这条路我经常骑车，很熟悉，但从来没有徒步过。所有路
径都是natural surface。要缩短路途的话，knuckle buster 后可以直接到停车场，大
概全程3迈。
注意事项:最好带bug spray，充足的水，看到熊的话掉头，尽量比你身边的同学跑得快。
