般都无法完全理解这些区别。
然后往下可以算材料和光学的东西，两方面都有涉及。
查查有没有optical properties of materials方面的书。
我试着简单解释一下：
general speaking,光和物质的作用就是electro-magnetic wave
和原子分子的作用。
首先一点，电子质量比原子核要小得多得多，所以一般
情况下就考虑电磁波与原子和分子中电子(确切的说是最
外层电子)的相互作用。
如果是金属，dominant的就是电磁波和自由电子的作用，
如果是绝缘体，就是电磁波和被spring束缚的电子(Lorentz
model)作用。
FT-IR是红外光谱的一种，红外吸收是因为分子中
各个原子之间相对震动(或转动)与电磁波发生共振而产生的吸收，
当入射的电磁波频率与分子中各原子之间的某震动固有
频率相同时，这个频率的光就会被强烈吸收。一般这些
固有频率的波段都在红外，所以叫红外吸收。
光电效应中电子吸收入射光而挣脱束缚，如果入射能量越高，
电子挣脱束缚之后获得的动能就越高。光电效应要求的入射

polyelectrolyte will offer two stabilization effects, electro and steric.
the zeta potentail can be zero but there are still steric effects. try to dip
it into a positivly charged salt solution, you will find the latex will be
coagulated instead.

你参考一下而已；本人也是一个菜鸟，说的不对的呢，也请海涵。没有和您老抢饭碗的
意思。。。我们的样品polymer和substrate的作用力挺大的，和你的过程不大一样。
dip-coating的最大的问题是膜的厚度不如spin-coating的均一，对于我们的样品来说
不是很重要，因为还要graft第二层膜。我个人的感觉我现在做到dip-coating的时候，
不是很严苛的除尘。感觉上dust对electro-spin coating可能影响很大。不知道你现在
的步骤是不是这样~

现在phd第四年，马上毕业。学校在中部大农村，工作不好找。研究方向是
：nonlinear finite element solver. 是用Fortran写的，主要是electro-mechanical
shell element，solid element也有但不完善。
来美国之前，在国内深圳做过五年CAE engineer。当时主要是做vehicle component的
计算。ABAQUS和ANSYS都很熟悉。
想找一个finite element方向的intern/full-time工作。solver development或者
application的都可以。
