，1个老板的老板的老板，1个hr的generalist， 每人45分钟.
generalist第一个见我，照着本子一个一个念behavioral questions，我回答的时候她
就拿笔在本子上记，全程无eye contact，我回答得很郁闷，感觉自己一个人在唱独角
戏，没有观众所以没有激情。（我是那种人来疯的人，越是有人交流，就越眉飞色舞。
）第一个见完，感觉只给自己勉强70分。
后面来了三个director,一个比一个有知识，聊得也开心，人都很nice,很详细地介绍公
司的business,products, markets, technologies, challenges,etc,感觉没把我当外
人，我做的功课也派上了用场，事先打印了很多我觉得谈话中可能会用到的材料，比如
一些表格，presentation,和小工具等。他们每人都带着我的cover letter 和resume来
，还有一个笔记本，和我谈的时候就在上面画示意图，（临走我都问他们要了那些示意

所以准备搬家。重新找个室友在NY/NJ合租 (毕竟一个人住太贵)。
本版应该有很多正在/准备到纽约工作的吧：）
我觉得一个好的室友非常重要。可以在工作生活中相互学习。
所以希望能借本版宝地求一个室友。
本人：男25岁，理工男，无不良嗜好，生活规律，热情开朗。讲卫生。工作上进。

背景：astrophysics PhD + 1 year Postdoc. leetcode做了40多题，cc150连一半都
没到，CS的能力就只是算法和数据结构比较熟，别的什么os, distributed computing
，一问就歇菜，哎，非科班出身，内力不行。但clrs还是仔细看了一下，没看全部，主
要是I II III IV + chapter 22.
offer: 105k base, 15% bonus, 5k sign on + some currently meaningless stock
options. 我知道这不是什么牛offer，但我觉得以我目前的资历，已经很不错了。
象上面说的，我本身cs的功底并不行，但我为什么还是拿到offer了呢？首先，时机真
的是第一位的。现在cs的job market真的是很好，如果你能在amazon ec2随便用python
什么的支个网站，整两三个简单的app，象calculator什么的，很多startup应该会对你

project的时候，他不是很满意，当时直接说了，我有点低于他的期望值。当时做
project时用的产品我不是很熟悉，再加上紧张，整个思路都不太清晰。表现不好，其
实我觉得自己还是能胜任
他们工作的，而且也特喜欢他们公司环境，请问面试后可以怎么补救下？
负责招人包括这个技术主管还有一个老中，人都很nice，easygoing。其中一个送我出
来时，还提到我有事可以和他联系。 能不能打电话和他解释下？这样会不会显的不自
信？

He is good at one section, and we may train him in the other two sections.
This is the manager's decision.
My personal plan is I will stay away from this guy if he is in. He is so
mean and despicable, no one can make a friend out of him.
Even if you are really good at some area, always be humble. Being humble
will make you look easygoing and bring you friends. |

的，护士说7，8月后才take new patient。后然我就叫她把最快available的给我约上
，结果是男的。第一次看病，男医生很happy说，啊，你咋知道我的呢？偶那个尴尬啊
，说，网上找的.....现在看来这个男OB很patient，一些英文不懂，他也尽力解释。小
护士看着有点亚洲血统，很easygoing，会一点中文，叫我取尿液样本的时候会说：
niaoniao（第三声）哈哈。所以远了点，还是继续这个OB。 |

大概快60的一老太，很精明能干的样子。唯一不好就是她太easygoing了，啥都不在乎
，觉得做父母的总是overreact~，提倡顺其自然。。有时候会比较凶~哈哈，但是如果
有问题她还是会比较有耐性的。
不过扎针她肯定很有经验，每次抽血打针她也都亲自来，没见过有任何差错~30年经验
不是白给的。 |
