but it was at least 20 years ago. i can not find this company now, there are
two different company, one is eastman, the other is kodak. The reason why I
want to order the chemicals from this company is that no purification is
needed.

日本店的生鱼片？那不可能是这个pollock。鳕鱼有寄生虫，要deep fry最安全。还没
见过生吃cod的。价格也不会那么贵。
以前大家只钓cod，但后来cod被overfish了，eastman最早扛起大旗钓pollock。当时还
被其他船和hardcore们鄙视。当年第一个带我上船钓cod的美国人就是这个态度，们只
钓cod，pollock算什么？只上Walsh，拒绝上Eastman。结果后来大家都钓pollock了，

一方面eastman是一家很大很有名的化工公司，另一方面我很喜欢这个
字的读音，无论是中文的还是英文的。作为一个id来说，eastman读起
来要上口得多，一个名字总要给别人叫的么。朋友里面真有些id我是
不大能叫出来的，呵呵，比如citi的id，而space我一般都叫排骨，
想fool，简直就是一个书面字，根本叫不得。grin
手头什么书都没有了，以前有段时间，手边总有说文，和山海经，没
事总要翻翻那些字，那些地方以前是怎么来的。本来要是有山海经在，
或许能查查东人是哪里人，有什么好玩的可写。虽然我一直住城西，无
论在国内还是出国以后，但总想知道东面有什么。
呵呵，跑题比写东西要简单多了，所以现在我也不知道能不能把这个

charter，就加了个塞。博士囤海钓的童鞋们可能知道，Eastman Dock每年都有一次
charity trip，在pollock鱼情最好的时候，钓上满满一船的鱼送给New Hampshire
Food Bank。我们这些渔民觉得吃顿鱼稀松平常，殊不知即使在米国，也有很多人吃不
起新鲜的海鱼。今天我有幸和一群最hardcore的local老美东北渔民一起，出大力流大
汗，尽了自己作为渔民的一份微薄之力。
今天一共27个die hard的jig fishermen，在Jeffrey’s Ledge，顶着15 kt 的海风，
在阴霾的天气里，冒着雨，一共钓到800多条pollock，fillet出2500 磅鱼肉。 我个人
的贡献是30条pollock， 就算是100lb fillet吧，在这27个人中只是slightly above

party boat我上过gloucester的yankee fleet，cape cod的Hyline H，Hyline Cruise
，NH的eastman。好像yankee fleet和eastman的口碑好些。不过可以问问小芳和docker
，他们上的比较多。
钓多长时间取决于你想钓什么鱼和你有多少时间出海
器材船上基本都有，但是一般都不太好使，比较费劲。
一般船尾和船头容易上大鱼，而且不容易缠线。
爆钓不难，但是空运好像有点难。 |

你说的那个例子，City最后要了Eastman和Anderson；这两人也是分别把City排在了第
一；如果Eastman rank的时候把City放在第三，那么他最后就会去General了，因为
General排他了；而Chen就会去City
所以，就象Panda说的，不要考虑program会如何排你，你只考虑你最想去的program就好

。很多情况下，这会导致自杀。下面这列最伟大的科学家们都选择了自杀的道路。
1.维克多·梅耶（Viktor Meyer）
维克多·梅耶是一位德国化学家，在有机化学和无机化学领域做出了重大的贡献。1848
年出生于柏林，他最著名的成就是发明了测量蒸汽密度的维克多·梅耶仪，并发现了噻
吩(Thiophene)。
作为一名天赋才情的化学家，梅耶成天醉心于他的化学研究。这种生活方式使他的神经
系统承受着巨大的压力。在经历过几次精神崩溃之后，1897年他选择服用氰化物自杀，
死时年仅49岁。
（注：噻吩---是一种杂环化合物，学名硫杂环戊二烯，为无色透明液体，易燃，有类
似苯的芳香气味，溶于乙醇、乙醚等有机溶剂，不溶于水，在850oC高温不分解，相对
密度1.0611，熔点-38.3oC，沸点84.18oC，闪点-1.1oC，折射率1.5289，比重d25=1.
