天跟儿子读书时学了个新词儿叫Blennophobia--dislike of slime.有这个毛病的朋友
千万不能干这个活儿。
在松土的过程中，我发现地上有许多黄色的小珠珠，以前我看到了还以为是买的
potting mix里附带的肥料，今天偶然一捏，发现怎么手感和捏蜗牛的感觉差不多呢
？赶快发动儿子去google了一下snail和slug egg，一看，就愤然发现，原来这些小球
球就是万恶的害虫卵。斩草要除根，杀虫要除卵。于是，杀虫运动就发展成了寻卵/碎
卵运
动。
因为那些google的图片实在是让人起鸡皮疙瘩，（顺便，俺又给儿子解释了一下啥叫鸡
皮疙瘩，）我就不贴在这里了。有兴趣的朋友自己去找。科研中，还无意找到了这几个
杀鼻涕虫的youtube。特和菜园爱好者们资源共享一下：

算是这几个月全家最后一次钓鱼了吧！
兴冲冲全家快速吃完晚饭，买了minnow，想着今天可以钓点crappie，因为天热了好
久没有钓到crappie了，谁知道有心载花花不开，无心插柳柳成行，倒是成就了我的新
记录（LMB 18.5inch，4lb10oz）。
钓点：仍然是同一个湖边，浮桥上，只是今天在水深比平时深大约1－2米处。
鱼饵：minnow和earthworm都有（有3根杆）
时间：7点15到9点（根据weather.com的鱼情报告选的时间）
过程：大约8点钓到一条11inch的小小的大嘴，不是keeper，release；大约10分钟后
，一根上earthworm的鱼杆有动静了，我往回收线，鱼杆弯成90度，使劲往回收，鱼钩
以上1inch的地方鱼线齐齐断掉，鱼线有伤痕或大鱼咬痕后被拉断，估计一条4lb，拉力
很猛，没提出水面。最后一条在8点40左右钓上，鱼钩是钓Crappie的小钩，鱼饵是已经
死了的minnow，开始拉力不大，后来收线困难，鱼往桥下钻，有了前一次断 |

Majority of us here do not need volume, rather get "some" of it as worms
multiply like crazy.
Here is latest invention (of distributors): VermiPods.
Those are eggs of worms encapsulated in small balls of clay. This way they
can store up to 3month in refrigerated space (possibly a year!), shipped in
small package, cheap and safely.

usually trout over there is around 3-5 feet above bottom, so kind deep.
idylwood park: all wild fishes, way too early, water is still cool. all
fishes are at very bottom in deep water area. you can fish small mouth in
winter if you have a boat.

u may want to try bluegills. From my experience, those giants like bluegill mu
ch more than minnow. Live bluegill works the best. But if it is too large, you
can cut it into pieces, and it still is better than many other baits.
It is surely harder to catch bluegills in hot weather. Gills are not getting s
marter in summer, but just don't feed as aggressively as in spring. Still, you

change to earthworm and let it sit in the spot for a while. Finally one of
them bite and I took it out.
I spent another hour and half tried to get the other two, without success.
It was getting dark and I changed the lure to plastic worms, and got one
smaller one. This one had a pretty big belly. I hesitated for a while to
decide if I should keep it, because I thought it was pregnant.
