solution, and dilute them to detect the concentration by HPLC. First I thought
this way is good to determine the drug uptaking kinetics. However the results

拿到CK的成绩了. 准备过程中, 从麦地和朋友得到很多的帮助. 先行者的考经为我们
后来人提供了极好的指导和参照。说实话，这个成绩离我的目标还差了一点， 有些遗

制的状况下发现的.比如说metfomin, 治糖尿病的最常用的药,target是什么还是有争
议,机制也就更不清楚.一堆人说是AMPK,另一堆人说不是. 另一方面生物学家根据机制
预测drug target成功率也就和中彩票的几率差不多把.好多preclinical研究非常漂亮,
说这个那个蛋白是drug target, 然后公司找出一堆小分子作用于这些target,结果没见
几个能够制药.所以制药本来就是风险性很大的,也不是说理论研究清楚就能保证成功的
几率. |

drug 的generic在美国也开始出现。

UW上的drug ad/research abstract题目偏难，实际考试的都比较直接，顶多一两个题
绕一下。如果你的统计和流行病学基本概念清楚，先看问题，然后快速扫drug ad/
research abstract，一般都会找到答案。如果找不到，那问题太难，就像其他CK难题
一样，你只能先跳过去，节省时间去做其他的题。答对所有会做的题就不容易了，我认
为。
NEJM杂志上有时候有些Drug ad，但是都很简单，我还真找不到难度和UW差不多的drug
ad，想想做广告如果做到别人需要绕半天才明白也算是失败吧。Abstract主要取决于研
究训练背景，想通过突击来提高恐怕不如把时间花在其他更HY的内容上，比如内科鉴别

中间有没有知情的人，能给我分析一下哪个专业做drug delivery出来的ph.d比较好就
业呢？ 我知道很多人偏向药学专业，那么其他两个专业是不是就差很远了？据我所知
，药学专业的人在drug delivery的实验室里，做化学合成的成分比较多， 而cancer
biology一般偏重有关metabolism and transportation的研究了。

实验室. 看看现在的美国药学院, 几乎没有老板做和工业界formulation直接相关的研
究. 大公司的主流还是片剂, 针剂, 这两年liquid gel比较多, 主要是针对那些low
solubility, low permeability的药.
再说了,就工业界formulation用到的那点技术, 你能完成一个PhD project吗? 所以你
只要大概齐做drug delivery方面的东西, 有点那些physical pharmacy的基础知识, 摸
过,听过,学过那些基础formulation的东西, 找工作的时候你就可以适当发挥了.
如果我是你, 先申请一个drug delivery 方面的好实验室. 不过你国内是生物本科, 申
请drug delivery lab很难, 因为这些实验室几乎只招chemistry background的学生. |

我也完全掌握。
听说公司都倾向于招学合成的，然后进了公司在training 他们drug design的知识。要
是把我的project 里面的drug design 部分写到resume和research summary里面，是会
加分还是减分啊？
不知道他们会不会对med chem的人有特别偏见的（因为我知道确实有很多med chem的人
organic synthesis experience比较少）会不会我只要提一点点擅长drug design就给
他们留下这个人其实不怎么会做synthesis 的映象，所以应该只字不提？

继续读phd，本校是cancer 的nanomedicine delivery，读本校的优势是申请方便，但

in school right now.
I need to analyze the administration of these new drugs, comparing to other
drugs in the same category. For example, I am reading materials about the
two new Hepatitis C drugs.

1. Expensive drugs， too much to afford, especially for those who has no
insurance. So there is a market for ppl who would like to purchase cheap
alternatives from overseas, even with some risks there.
2. Cheap Drugs, who is going to make it in the U.S? No profit at all. Vit
B12 1 mg for IM is always out of stock. Drug companys like to make brand
name sublingual or nasal spray.
