schools not guaranteed.
Many dropouts from UCB every year because the students are from the average
high schools and they are not prepared for the though competition at UCB.
There are some really good kids at UCB who did not get top school admission
such as HYPMS and chose UCB.
So if your kids from average schools and will probably get lower GPA at UCB. |

since solids don't compress much, it's the ability to withstand tensile load
that matters.
bike frames are triangulated tubes. if you load the dropout, the chainstay
is under tensile load, as is downtube. torsional forces like pedal mashing
will also result in tensile load somewhere.

me was for Specialized Roubaix 52cm and they don't have larger size boxes?
What size of box should I have asked? I would think that the box for my
dolce elite be smaller than the Roubaix, right?

time. and it's custom factory paint. almost a dream frame set that was sold
for $340 plus shipping. it could have been either a campy 9spd bike or a ss
bike. sigh, again! I just didn't want to say "honey, see, I got a fourth
bike," after my wife comes back from Brazil. Now I regretted, I should have
gone all in. well, there are plenty of Lemond on Ebay. |

我又看到一款2010 Fuji Roubaix 1.0 （$899），跟R-570一个价钱，但是Sram Rival
配件，小弟对Sram一无所知，上网看了看ms是Sram推出来跟Ultegra对抗的?而且Rival
的shifters是Carbon的！？这样子的话我肯定奔Fuji了，比R-570还划算呀，而且感觉
颜色也比10款570好一些

Local 推荐 CAAD10 5, 不过frame 不是碳纤，但是以后的service肯定用得上
Performance 的Altamira 3 LE看起来不错， 全碳纤， 可是纽约附近没有Performance
的店。。

车架有些边角可以看到些细节，从没有仔细看过碳架 不知道大厂的也是这样吗？
1 车架downtube有个地方有些毛刺，肉眼可见，用手可以明显摸出。
2 前叉一边的dropout不平整。
3 bottom bracket shell走线的地方看起来挺粗糙，有个地方缺了一小块，好像铺的时
候有异物？
看到 JensonUSA的Jamis Xenith Comp Bike 2011 50% $979.99
也是全碳车架，用的是BB30，碳坐垫管
不过是老的shimano 5700 105 10速，
整车还是很漂亮，比nashbar的无图装好看多了，也算是有牌的厂了，真想退了nashbar
换这个了
看了jamis 的宣传册。xenith comp 碳架用的是Mid-modulus T700, 12k weave outer,
不知道nashbar的车架参数是什么。感觉jamis应该车架会更好些。不知道是不是这样。
