recommendation for teachers.
I am looking for a good drawing class for my 10 years old kid in Cupertino
on Sat. afternoon between 2:30 to 4:30pm or Fremont on Friday night or
Sunday. Also, any good piano teacher in Fremont on Sunday or Friday night
for intermediate to advance level (my kid passed CM leverl 6 last year).

for some reason.
Since I use an offset head driver, it promots a natural draw if i hit well.
I am not that good yet to be able to have a full control in the course, even
in the driving range.
actually, i am not a good player, like scratch or 2-3 handicap something.

think it's true. It 's pretty good when we have left to right wind, and als
o it's for approach shot.
I realized it's pretty bad for tee shot when having the same wind. the cut s
hot/fade shot is sending the ball against the wind all the way. the ball end
s up with pretty short distance.
the best thing is to hit draw under this wind. It could gain so much distanc
e.
when wind is blow from right to left. I am dead.

在golf 球场上，想打出好成绩，就是那种很好的成绩，基本上不该有任何的对自己动作
上的怀疑的。
能有的怀疑只可能是球杆的选择，或该用多大力气。
如果对动作开始怀疑，那么shoot for target基本上不可能，脑海里大多是对球的轨迹
的担心，这个基本上是个正反馈系统。
5个好的击球赶不上一个坏的击球对心理的影响。
你说的没错，shoulder turn在击球中很重要，球杆越长，越需要保持一个完整的shoul
der turn。 但draw和shoulder turn没什么关系，supposedly..还是手臂上的动作，我
觉得。
masters的小孩们是fearless呀。。他们的柔韧性也好。 |

severe turn.
ET is not happy about slice. most of my bad shot is slice too.
fade lands soft and roll less, with "power fade", you get distance too.
seems that power fade is most desirable long shot at advanced level...
draw helps tremendously with right2left dogleg fairway...

觉得你的体会挺好. 自从我注意握杆和双腕极松以后, 好象我还没打过SLICE. 我觉得
我可能与你不同的地方是我在击球后, 右臂带动右肩一直往前送, 以至于结束动作是右
肩在前,左肩在后,杆身指向前方, 与目标线的夹角大约是45度或更小. 样子大概象
Geoff Ogilvy的结束动作. 这种结束动作要求腰也要极松. 总之我觉得, 高尔夫的灵魂
就是"松". 在松上下工夫, 绝对可收事半功倍的效果. |

发帖数: 10701 | 14 pro老早就开始教我该如何击打draw的球，一直没仔细练过。
1个月前开始练2次，结果把动作全给弄混了，主要是练习是耐心不够，球是一个接一个
的击，把自己本来的节奏给弄乱了。从而还是backswing的平面。
这2天开始练，pro的意思是我的双手小臂，在击球的刹那，没有收的动作，整个过程都
是在block，所以很容易fade/slice，
（这个感觉也很难表述，但想想就是前后的hinge在一个平面上的）
我练习的时候，主要还是注意在头完全停留在球后边，这是关键。
今天击得还行，明显击球的质量高太多了，即使是在顶风这种考验击球质量的天气下。
球也直很多了。。 |

One question:
Do you need to adjust the ball position to the club head? When I hit
straight, I align the ball center with sweet spot of the club. When I hit
draw, do I need to align the ball center further away from sweet spot, and
when I hit fade, align the ball center closer? This way, I feel I have more
club surface to add the side spin.

我感觉要打draw/fade是要加上侧旋。要加侧旋就必须有球在杆面上的侧向滚动。所以
如果正对甜点击球，而杆面又是斜的话，就会push/pull. 如果不正对甜点，击球后球
与杆面会有侧向滚动 before 甜点击到球， 这样侧旋就有了。
问题时，at address,球需要离甜点多远呢？

可以控制的Fade/draw。
我算是单差，绝大多数时间我都在考虑如何把球打直。只有在必须绕过障碍物的时候才
会故意做曲线球。曲线球变量更多，更不容易控制。职业比赛的球场果岭快且硬，旗杆
位置刁，fade大概是必须的。我们打球的球场大多不须要。
