用 Oracle 的话，如果没有 budget for two new servers, zero downtime 是不可能
的了，能 minimize 到一，两分钟的 downtime就不错了， 最好是在 SAN level 用
vendor provided tool to do online LUNs copy between old LUNs and new LUNs，
then at cutover time, shutdown database, do a final sync-split on SAN，mount
database, use scripts to rename all files to new location (whether it is
filesystem or Oracle ASM), open database. It is done.

internet数据流量估算可以从国内推国外的。mobile network流量跟实际storage size
偏差太大了，压缩比不同，冗余值不同，就算你是dedup，实际上存的physical size取
决database系统。disk array的生产商怎么会只有几家，dell, oracle, hp, ibm,
hitachi，emc, netapp, panasas，infortred... IDC能知道ODM的量？狗关门好几年大
家都不知道他们server design换了6，7代了。
请教是哪个F家? MR当然有bottleneck，本来就是狗过时的技术公布出来的，业内大家
都知道的事情。snapshot还是有downtime，我说的ha没有downtime。看过这个广告用语

学校的family housing区域。居住的是教职工（教授、博士后）和学生（主要是研究生
）。
是一个两人间。长话短说。搬进来一个黑人室友。有一些缺点，比如很闹（有的时候会
不由自主的唱歌），喜欢看电视（暑假他说是他的downtime，他每天能看10个小时电视
，而且声音开的很大），身上有黑人特殊的体味（发现亚洲人、白人、黑人的体味都不
一样，他身上那种就是夏天路上有的时候突然能闻到的臭啤酒的味道，有的黑人流浪汉
身上也是这个味道）。当然了，还有一些其他的“缺点”，和生活习惯的不同，但住
shared apartment谁都有心理准备，不可能有完美的室友。我接下来的concern也跟他
的这些特点并不相关。
了解他的背景，母亲是退役军人，从来没有提到他的父亲，可能单亲家庭？来学校是教
育心理学的博士，之前是在一个野鸡大学（三流宗教学校）本科，宾大的社会工作硕士。

check一下,读书签名之类. 另外两天妈妈3点下班(上班也早)接了学琴(2个人都学,钢琴
+提琴),游泳.另外还有唱歌跳舞,足球,网球之类的活动,多数周中,周末会有一两个. 周
中,经常外卖,或者自动定时的电饭煲蒸上红薯之类,timed oven breaded chicken(一次
做上很多，冰箱里一小包一小包包好，生的），自动定时高压锅烧很多其他的肉，
robot 天天定时解决地板，天天run dishwasher. 市面上能搞来最高效的工具都是好帮
手。蔬菜炒一两个很快。一般6点前吃饭，如果不外卖的话。周末可以做稍复杂的菜。
每天如果有时间练琴，之外就是看书或者互相玩玩，家里main floor 没有电视机，只
有周末能看电影。8点半之前熄灯睡觉，厨房基本也能之前收拾好，其他的一概视而不
见，因为大人得有点 downtime，看看片子，书之类。
如果有钟点工最好，可惜这里太偏僻，连劳模都没有。爸妈工作轻松flexible很重要 |

不是最低费的，但是老公司肯定可靠，没downtime。小公司可能fee低，但是sla估计不
能保证。
paypal，square之类都是给没自己merchant account的人／公司用的。 |

有朋友发msg问，于是上来说说。我看过了今天ER的记录，感觉大家主要看好几点：
1，crack spread会持续在高点
2，Wnr用期货的 lock in了一些今年的spread，大约在一年产量的10%
3，继续控制Yorktown的成本，可以预见成本下调。还有一些4q的成本是non-recur的。
4，潜在买家 for both Yorktown plant and some crude oil assets
5, 进一步减少负债，降低利息。
问题：
1 炼油厂downtime：维护和天气
2 当前的spread能持续多久
管理层对为来的crack spread很有信心，他们所在的位置也真是可以让他们享受这些高
margin。
根据这些信息，我认为WNR有上扬至20的潜质，到那时候，我会考虑开始减持。 |
