中国人习惯了他们私人生活受到权威部门的肆意侵犯。不过，还有另外一种几乎无形的
社会控制机制，管束着数亿城镇居民。那就是档案，即记录着各种平凡琐碎事情的个人
文件。档案从一个人上中学时的分数开始记录，内容包括主人公和其他人玩得好不好，
并会在他们成年后，列出他们的宗教信仰、心理问题和察觉到的政治问题。
档案会被封存在黄褐色的信封里，上面盖有写着红色“档案”字样的印章。这一制度源

不过最强烈的感受有几点
1. 公司指定的律所是吃货，我放任自流，我活该。。。。看到petition letter后，我
就跟人说 my takeaway is "reject me, please". 如果工作上有这种文件，我肯定不
会let it go through. 哭啊，我工作一大部分是review documents and write
regulatory dossiers. 做一个regulatory filing updates, 字斟句作， 自己的东西
还没严格把关，我是猪头～～～
2. Eb1b 还是一定要自己上心啊，要全力以赴。 除非很强的case,其他的还是自己把关
，提前自己找律师作为second opinion也好。

teach computer at a rehab center. there are plenty of volunteer works out
there. Great way to meet like-minded people. You can be a dossier at a
museum if your english is solid. You can certainly pick up new skills and
meet new people along the way. I wish I have more time to do this, maybe
when I retire one day.

前文叽歪了半天算是个铺垫，半天都还没扯到工作本身，现在切入正题。如果去找工作
的网站search一下，比如indeed.com，输入关键词，research scientist，欣慰的是大
部分工作都是life science相关的，残酷的是大部分工作的description对一个fresh生
物PhD或者鲜有industry经验的人来说几乎都是闭门羹。我对molecular technique并不
在行，不好评价工业中的实验环境和技术要求和学校有什么优劣异同，但显然分子生物
分门别类，通常你掌握的技术不差，但方向过于局限，如果公司挑人，没有经验的新手
自然会需要大量的training，老板多半不会有心有闲来手把手教你，替公司算算这笔账
，为什么会雇一个新手？这两天老板找谈话顺带提及了招人让我给推荐（非生物方向）
，我明说了既不给办H1和绿卡也没多少像样的relo package，另外还要经验，这样的人
从我的圈子里我推荐不出来，更何况附近的两大药厂都有相同的opening还没找着人，
