Both Slavik’s and Dmitri’s styles are unconservative, and Dmitri’s is even
slicker. It was interesting to see Dmitri Smokhin and Karina Smirnoff-Ice
dancing together. I think Dmitri is a better partner for Karina than Slavik (
However, I am not sure if Karina is a better partner for Dmitri than Anna).

In my opinion, slavik's dancing is too loud. His movements are a little too
big. His dancing style has become too fancy and maybe offensive. His moves
are kind of all over the place.
I didn't know Bryan Watson was taking any lessons from Donnie Burns before
OC mentioned it, either. Now it all makes sense. Bryan's dancing has changed
quite a bit. His movements are much tighter and controlled now. He is much

donnie burns compete with shirley later, but not with nadia (who retired?),
if i remember it correctly from my archeology work.

I think Aaron, Mya, Joanna, Natalie would be in the semi talent and
athleticism wise. Donny may be in if audiences bring him through.
Mya is a natural.
Joanna is very athletic. But her close hold does not look good! We should
blame Derek for that though.
Natalie, another bay area (native) world champion, has a chance only if she
loosens up. But given that the past several champions are all athletes, she
has a good chance statistically. :)

后的激烈火拼，MIRKO-ARUNAS-VICTOR-???，TEAM MATCH应该还是USA赢。

9am以前，去占个一楼的好座位（第一排，这些位子是晚上给嘉宾的，如DONNIE BURN）
看一天的拉丁，到下午最后的一个（第3-4个）回合后，你可能挺累了，好好休息一下。
前几个回合都要1-2小时，高手是免1-2回合的。

现在体育舞蹈的一个发展趋势就是比速度，力量，已经和10年前不太一样了。其实看10
年前，虽然世界顶级的几位比如 bryan & carmen, Jukka & Sirpa, Allan & Serecca,
Paul & Hanna ，但是slavik & Joanna， Louis & Karina，Dimitri ＆ Anna,
Andrej ＆ Katarina，Klaus & Victoria，Franco ＆ Oksana已经是业余组的冠军和专
业组里后面的几名了。那几位顶级的风格明显和这些业余组的不太一样。现在的舞蹈风
格基本上就是后面这些人的风格。当然，前面的这些人的风格和Johan & Nadia，

masculine一些，slavik跳得更抒情一些（有更多的芭蕾意味）。近年来，slavik跟

他对technique 要求非常高， 上回他在这里教课一星期，看他给学生示范动作，我老
师之一，也由衷地说 he is amazing， 因为他们这些top dancers都跟同样的coaches
上课, 比如donnie burns， shirley ballas，她看到他怎样跟学生讲解动作的要领 (
那是他从他们共同的老师那里学到的,加上他自己的理解) ， 示范时他把每一个动作做
得那么到位， 很赞。
没有故意跟人作对的意思 :) 只是指出一些关于top dancers很多人没有看到的东西而
已。

异地说。Franco肯找Olga跳还是挺招人待见的，算是不以年龄取舞伴，但是结果我也不
乐观。不过他们好像还是决定在一起跳得。Oxana这次貌似22/23了，好像jive更前paso
更后。记得Donnie说过，一个finalist的男的找个100女的，还是finalist.一个
finalist的女的找个100男的，就变回100了。好像还真是这么回事，让人失望啊。 |

发帖数: 375 | 50 回国一阵子，上不了买买提，刚回来--还是资本主义好啊，小地方也有舞跳。
我其实观舞水平还是很初级，看不出太多名堂。倒是很多人都说Michael是被Joanna带
进finalist的。Yulia和Max我就不太好说，虽然我比较喜欢Yulia （继Carmen之后也没
几个看着顺眼的说实话，我已经不太喜欢Carmen以后这一代的拉丁舞风格了），但是我
还真不知道她是不是比Max出彩。
Donnie说的我也是觉得很有乐quote来耍耍，但是男女的角色是不是还是有一定的关系
啊？毕竟男士是领舞。不过也可能是我自己不够强，依赖性大，我总觉得我跟不同水平
的男士跳的时候表现出来的水平还是有差距的，水平高（或者connection好）的领舞能
让我发挥出超水平，但是我好像没有本事让一个水平差的男士发挥出超水平。我觉得一
般意义上男舞伴影响女舞伴更容易，除非女舞伴强很多。
对了，MM写个黑池巨星点评系列吧，让我这种初学者受受益，感觉MM的舞评都写得很好
，要是成系列就爽了。 |
