personally, I believe life actuaries do more routine work, because
1.pension, assume 30% of the life actuaries are working in pension,
although I totally made up the number, so don't hesitate to correct
me if i am off;
2.basic life insurance pricing. i am talking about the contracts that

Match的结果终于尘埃落定，周1等电邮的时候非常紧张，因为成败就在此了，虽然一直
告诉自己，今年只是热热身，成败都可以接受，但到真的揭晓的时候，还是很紧张，毕
竟一旦卷入其中就身不由己，何况自己也还是有所付出。到周4等match program的时候
虽然也有点紧张，但程度已经大大减少，1个原因是毕竟match上才是头等大事，去哪里
尚在其次，还有1个原因是心理还是有所准备了，虽然希望留在home school，但直觉告
诉我恐怕是非常困难了，在我rank list上第二位的program应该就是我要去的地方，果
不其然。经过几天的等待，发现果然是要搬家了。

我们是用小鼠胚胎的软骨和骨头染色的protocol。染软骨的话只用Alcian Blue即可。
最后胚胎用BABB处理就会变得透明。BABB危险，而且会腐蚀显微镜，使用时要小心。很
多动物的胚胎都可以用类似的方法染骨头（红色）和软骨（蓝色）：鼠，龟，蛇，鸡，
鱼，蜥蜴，变色龙，蝙蝠。。。而且都很漂亮！

Mellon: from what I read, it is the resultant forces at the crack tip needed
in the integral equation approach, not the stresses. The equations are derived
by using the complex potentials and treating the crack as a distribution of
dislocations.

同意年轻医生的看法，尺骨近端骨折伴桡骨头前脱位。尺骨近端骨折比较明显，但在正
/侧位X光片子上，骨折移位(Displacement)不明显。如果是单纯的尺骨近端骨折，像这
样移位不明显的骨折,再加上5岁儿童骨折后的愈合和再塑的能力很强，采用外固定的治
疗方法应该是适当的。
这个病例中的关键是尺骨骨折有没有同时伴有桡骨头脱位？有没有桡骨头脱位要看肘部
正/侧位X光片上的桡骨-肱骨小头线(Radio-capitellar line), 正常桡骨纵轴延伸线应
通过肱骨小头中央,否则则提示桡骨头脱位(Dislocation)。在这个病例中，正位X片桡
骨头未见明显脱位，侧位片可见桡骨头有前脱位，但不是很明显。
桡骨头前脱位根据脱位的程度不同，临床上有可能直接压迫前臂的神经，以及影响前臂
的血液循环。年轻医生有可能是根据LZ女儿的一些临床症状体征（手肿胀发青没有疼痛
感....），无法排除前臂血管神经受压迫，才安排病人尽快做手术复位固定的。“明天
凌晨作手术”，这听起来像是急症手术。
本人不是骨科医生，又没见病人，以上只是根据一些基本知识说说自己的看法。建议LZ

The differentiation diagnosis list including but not limited to:
1. cervical poly;
2. cervical ectropian;
3. cervcial dysplasia or cancer;
4. cervititis;
5. vaginal injury/vaginitis;
6. IUD dislocation.
If you still don't have any clue, you should refer her to Gyn. It doesn't
matter how many order you requested, the key point is how much you can
recognize the lesion.

我姐姐36岁，出生时候就有先天性胯脱臼（Hip Dislocation），两条腿共手术过三次
，至今走路还可以看出来明显的摇晃。
十几岁开始左膝盖就不太会弯曲，不能完全下蹲，后来越来越严重，走路膝盖就疼。
27岁左右发现有糖尿病，已经比较严重，应该是时间比较久了没有发现（我家有糖尿病
史）。这些年尿里面有蛋白。
现在的问题在于，最近一年多，左膝盖明显肿胀，几乎完全不能弯曲了，走路很疼。
膝关节CT平扫：双膝关节关节缘唇样增生，髁间隆嵴可见点状增生影，胫骨平台下可见
囊状低密度影，双侧可见水样低密度影。左侧髌骨关节旁可见菜花样骨性突起。病变可
累及关节。
影像诊断：1、双膝关节退行性改变。2、考虑髌骨骨软骨瘤。3、双侧关节腔积液。
左膝关节正侧X线报告：左膝关节唇样变尖，关节间隙变窄，软组织部肿胀。髌骨形态
改变，可见增生。
入院诊断：怀疑左膝骨软骨瘤，骨化性肌炎。
国内医生说让开刀手术，顺便再切片化验。请教这里的各位医生，大家觉得上述的诊断
是否正确？需要开刀手术么？这种病有没有恶变的可能？多谢了！ |

发帖数: 1548 | 39 3岁娃，偶然发现一只脚的外侧踝关节下方有个pea sized 硬硬的突起。我自己觉得按
压是不怎么动的（就是没有attached to the skin)。没有受伤史，也不排除娃偶尔扭
了没告诉我们。
带去看了儿医，儿医说是推的动，问没有食欲变差也没有weight loss，也不痛，摸了
淋巴结都没异常。送去拍了x-ray，说骨头没问题。儿医说要么自己观察一阵子，要么
带去看 pediatric orthopedic specialist。
有儿科/骨科经验的知道有些什么可能原因么？还有什么检查手段可以确诊呢？比如B超
可以检测是否是cyst？

State by State — United States statutes as they pertaining to spanking and
child abuse.
Editors Note: This page is continually being updated. This information has
been posted here in order to allow parents to read the state statutes for
themselves and find other pertinent code sections. I could use some help. If
