I don't know about Seagate being the best,
but definitely better than WD, which gave
me lots of problems. Even Maxtor is better
than WD in the 1990s and earlier. Also WD
tried to weasel out of their warranties,
when drives fail during warranty period.
WD runs a dishonest warranty service.
This is based on personal experience from
buying more than 10 drives per year in the

Chinese is despicable", so if your real purpose is "我只是反对一些XX把这样的
悲剧无限上纲上线。", go pick your fight were the fight was. If you think
what happened is a normal accident, don't use the loser argument "it happens
in US too". Using US as your standard only shows your lack of self-esteem.

到一家有lab的，楼主问了问情况，决定周末去，这家urgent care周日开周六关。早上
想起来万一验血不能吃饭或者周末不能做检查，就想打电话问一下，没想到接电话的男
的，问我什么原因要去诊所，我就说了，然后他特别鄙夷的语气问我，你是越南人么？
我当时一惊，这跟我是什么种族有什么关系啊，我说不是，我是中国人。这个时候我才
意识到，这个人好像是越南人，口音像。然后他说话就变的特别mean了，我没问某项检
查价钱，他就直接说，某某检查，70刀，某某 xx刀。。。。70刀那项，我前几天打电
话，另一个接电话的特意查的，说40-60刀，具体要看里边查的细节。于是我就说了，
之前打过电话说40-60刀啊。他就说，哦，那就60刀吧，反正就差10刀嘛，可以

也不要做错的问题。
这次真是吓出一身汗，一个大警钟，以后打死也不做Flat Fee Agent了。
整个事情的来龙去脉并没有100%的细节，也有部分是大家脑补的猜测。大概意思就是
Agent H在2016年6月的时候代表buyer M 在South San Jose买了一栋房，Buyer只让
Agent写了Offer，Agent admitted internally that "Returned a majority of the
commission as monetary compensation privately".Agent应该是没有仔细读过
disclosure，也没有完全向buyer advise（也可能有）。
房子的屋顶有比较严重的问题，今年1月份大雨的时候直接渗漏导致屋顶部分垮塌，
Buyer 4岁的女儿被掉落的Drywall 和石灰粉砸到，摔了跤，收了惊吓。据说去了911.
事情没完，现在怀疑小孩有吸入石棉的风险，而且由于受惊吓没法正常上学，

我记得USMC是先选工作再签。没有合适的，就可以不签。也就是说不去，等着。我曾经
也做过类似的research。我记得参军后选工作，不是你想换哪个工作就能换的。要有一
定的军龄什么的，我忘了是1年还是2年了。也就是说你必须在先前岗位待到一定的时间
才能换取另一个。
recruiter的工作就是尽可能招人。他们其中一部分人会想法设法，连哄带骗的招人。

The manufacturers and marketers should ensure adequate information is given
at the point of purchase.
