了。
G1第一集里面，还在赛伯坦上，声波就靠变形成一根灯柱来躲避汽车人的注意。所以这个
disguise如果说是伪装的话，也和人类看不看得出来无关。
而且字面上来说，robot in disguise的意思就是“看上去不象机器人的机器人”。这甚
至没有“刻意伪装”的意思。
至于为什么他们大多变成交通工具，这个问题本身就不存在。实际上G1里面，很多变形金
刚都不是变成交通工具，比如录音机，显微镜，枪，炮，恐龙，昆虫，以及后来的各种动
物。变成交通工具只不过是一开始最容易想到的点子而已。

太阳鱼老大贴的分析和我看法差不多。对马软和以前对白菜有点像，普通的blitz那是
送死，得disguise + 给不同的look。我拍和其他队最大的不同就是DE和LB差别不大，
说难听是没有talent，不可能强力pass rush，往好里说是多面手，每个人前插后撤都
行。Nink当年假装pass rush后撤躲在人群里sit on crossing route抄白菜不止一次。
花和高塔都有从edge突破和A gap twist/stunt的能力。马软今年拜小香play design的
立体性，progression read不用多动脑子，一旦进入rhythm，no huddle是见神杀神，
我拍防守的希望就是能够用不同的look给他一丝的犹豫，白菜/糖果/马软这类的还是长
考出臭棋。在犯一两次错误后，马软的心理素质还是未知数。事实上过去两场海鸟宝宝

Actually I have done both shbh and dhbh. I never liked dhbh even though in
a pinch I have used it. shbh is more elegant and in some ways more

克一般跳起来把身体死命地砸在场子上，速度以外旋转和placement一样重要。霏霏速
度就不快，但镭射般精准，而且转，disguise 好，内外角球都抛到一个地方。Nadal
也很有placement，另外有旋转（当然豆子速度上过分欠缺，而且disguise做的不好）。
Nishikori的placement 其实不错，发球至少不是他的短板。 |

2. keep it the shortest distance in the air, this way opponent will have
less distance to react and it will be easier for you to cover
3. do not hit dropshot behind the base line (if you are 5.0, then that's a
different story)
4. do not hit dropshot if it's like a foot below the net.

我不同意的地方， 这里就在罗嗦一下吧。
1. 霸天虎的塑造。
个人完全同意红蜘蛛， 威震天的形象是败笔， 但这是好莱坞的硬伤， 几乎所有的
Align原型都那样， 没半法。
但是， 其他几个霸天虎的塑造还是不错的。
Decepticon---Robots in disguise
在这个概念下， Blackout以美军退役直升机的身份混入基地， 大打出手， 使得整个
基地措手不及， 最后被全灭。
Frenzy更是把这个Robots in disguise发挥到了极致， 在空军一号上， 几次变形避免
被发现， 后来有变成手机继续任务。
Barricade的警车也不错， 前面一个老兄说到了， 他的车门上写的是:"To punish and
enslave" 而不是 "To protect and serve"。
还有那个蝎子， 悄悄隐藏在地下， 听到美军要用电话， 就把变电塔搞塌， 而几个美
军都不知发生了什么。 之后， 又悄悄接近capation, 前爪化作利刃... 其实以他的本
领， 完全可以以迅雷不 |

唱的robots in disguise矛盾。
设定可以随便设，但是不能不make sense，不然就不叫设定叫扯鸟蛋。所以G1变性金刚
是给5岁孩子看的，所以指环王是经典纳尼亚传奇是垃圾。
麦可悲的变1其实是按照robots in disguise 这个设定走的，直升机霸天虎沙漠追杀大
兵就是为了要灭口保证伪装不被拆穿；大黄蜂第一次变形还知道要找个没人的地方悄悄
变；第七区还是个神秘组织连国防部长都不知道。
从变二编剧罢工麦可悲自己写剧本开始，就越来越二了。 |

My ten year old son has been assigned to determine the origin of the phrase
"knock your socks off." As an English professor, I was pretty cocksure
about finding an answer quickly, but we have been, to use a good Word
Detective word, flummoxed. Any clues? -- Margaret Oakes, Greenville, SC.
Answer: Golly, that seems like a pretty tall order for a ten year-old. I
