Micron,那你未来基本就在Micron类型的公司里混了
比如你做LED的modeling，你当然是在Cree之内的公司里混
你做III-V的，可能就会在同一类的RF公司里混。
总之，你一点比如进入某类行业的某个公司有了经验，这个行业里的其他公司你就也可
以去

是想先工作试试，学校在CA,一般般，上了一些fab,device, MEMS,
solid-state的课；我有过一些simulation的经验，简单的fab。。。
之前投过一些公司都没有任何回音，一个interview都没有，估计是自己太弱了。。。
版上有这方面的同学能给个refer么？ Process engineer, simulation, device
engineer, testing/characterization之类的都可以。。。
最近在自学circuit，本科学过最简单的，但是都忘记了，感觉这个方向工作真的不好
找，想学学数电，或者是测试什么的.

路一点的compact model之类的
我觉得NY那边就IBM，GF吧，其他的半导体公司大部分都在西部，AZ,CA, TX之类的。包
括IC的公司这边也很多。做Device research 也没几个了。面的确很窄，但是基本上就
在那几家工作了，不会有大的变动，做的东西肯定是前沿。modeling基本上IDM都会有
，fabless也需要会process和modeling的人。看你喜欢那个了？如果我是LZ我就去CA了

modelling，model做好以后基本就是修修改改，或者给我们这群做电路的人科普一下

个方面的testing. IC公司大部分要会写代码，懂点硬件吧。 有的即使没有testing
group，也可以让别人帮你测，至少我工作的地方就是。
device engineer可以做很多东西，design, process, characterization,
reliability,packaging都可以涉及到。就看公司的大小和职位的定位了吧 |

sandisk的device engineer的job description,感觉真的蛮process的

两个选择基本都是机电一体化方向的
一个老师是做biomedical device design的，主要是一些医疗辅助设备的设计和控制；
另一个老师是做automobile powertain的，主要涉及发动机、电-液压系统方面的研究
，将来估计要找汽车公司之类的工作
我个人觉得biomedical device design方面的前景应该更好，但的确不清楚现在美国就
业方面的形势，请有经验的同学指点一下！多谢！ |

with doctors.
这种经验一旦获得 job security 就太好了
FEA 参考的东西， 的确像lz说的 前途不好，
lz可以多和designer leader 联系， 争取进入design。
我很多师哥都是 从fea 到design ，
我比较lucky 一进公司就是design了。
不过我们都不是medical device行业的。 |

Personally, I don't think there is any future of CNT to make devices unless
people can grow it with a good control of size and alignment that is
impossible for the way chemist doing.
The only way now is engineering, using semiconductor lithography
techniques to make, i.e., Si nano wire devices that had been demonstrated.

虽然你做的偏生物，并不意味着你一定要找medical device的职位，除非你一心想走这
条路。比如你如果有高分子合成背景，medical device, pharmaceutical,chemical之
类的公司都可以投，这个面就很广了,但是投的时候应该focus在research的职位。金属
和陶瓷也一样，除了和生物相关的职位，完全可以投其他相对传统的行业，而且很多材
料公司其实现在都有bio相关的program。你的学位是材料，职位的侧重点应该还是利用
你的材料背景，生物的东西对于医疗相关的职位算加分，但是这不代表你需要很精通生
物的东西，也不代表你不可以投其他行业的职位。至于简历怎么写，照着职位描述突出
相应的技能是重点，不求全但求匹配。 |

我想在美国销售一种medical device。看了一下FAD的要求，这种产品的submission
type 是510（K）exempt，但不是GMP exempt。
我的问题是，如果厂商的产品上标有FDA标识，我是不是就可以直接在美国销售这种产
品了。另外，如果我想自己注册一个品牌，叫这个厂家帮我生产，我还需要FDA的批准
吗？

用), 现在觉得机子太卡, 于是在swappa上买了个二手nexus 5 (D820), 结果swap
device每次都出错:
"If this new device is currently active on any carrier, it must be
deactivated before swapping into your account.
If you entered an ICCID, please try without the ICCID."
swap的时候用的是n5的MEID/ESN和e2里面那张旧SIM卡的ICCID. 据n5机主说他原来也是
用ringplus的, 不过我之前在r+的BYOD页面上查了这台n5的MEID/ESN, 显示的是可以加
入ringplus, 应该没有问题. n5机主又说可能是SIM卡的问题, n5只能用SIMGLW206R.
我看了下, e2用的是SIMGLW236C的SIM卡.

1. 从applestore要 一张免费的SIM 卡。
2. 从iPhone setting 中找到：MEID 和 ICC ID
3. 在RP 网上找到 DASHBOARD,选择SWAP DEVICE
4. 要把IPHONE的MEID 和 ICC ID 都输入， 注意不要输入SIM CARD 上的 ICC ID
5. SUBMIT 后，点击activate device， SPRINT 信号出现了 |
