1.首先这都是这些球员自愿的，相信现在每个小孩选择学校的时候对depth chart包括
oversign的情况应该都是很清楚的吧，他们对以后会面临的竞争程度应该还是很清楚的

上面没有什么不公平，不透明的吧
2.竞争中有成功的就有被淘汰的，就是这么残酷，football这项运动更是残酷。对于学
校来
说，奖学金不是理所当然的，也不是福利，发给你的前提是你在高中表现优秀够得上门
槛，但
是如果你在球队待了几年之后还是无法对球队做出贡献，优秀程度达不到标准，你自然
也再配
不上这个奖学金。何况大多数失败的例子的还是努力程度不够吧，承认你说的work
hard但是
还是达不到球队标准的情况也有，但这也不能说deserve奖学金吧.walk on里面一大堆
玩命练
的人，这么说这些人更deserve奖学金，奖学金=优秀而不是福利。Nobody is entitled

加州一直以前卫著称，正面的前卫比如高科技，我们从美西搬到美东，这一点深有体会
。同样是美国，硅谷的先进真的是展现在具体生活的细节中，举个例子，刚到美东，去
图书馆就发现这里的借还图书都是人工处理，硅谷大部分图书馆都是电子扫描自动处理。
前卫的负面或者说有些不舒服的地方呢，比如加州对同性恋一直走在大部分州对此的观
念之前。记得大约两年前，加州有人试图让同性恋结婚合法化，引起很多保守派和宗教
团体的有组织的抗议。那时我所认识的相同或不同教会的兄弟姐妹几乎都统一口径说“
为了我们孩子的将来”我们坚决反对同性恋。曾经在居住的小城里看见同性恋者高举着
牌子寻求他们的权益，我问身旁的两个孩子对此有何看法，当时是一个小学生和一个初
中的的一女一子对我说这些人应该得到他们的自由和权力。我的“上帝不喜悦”和为人
父母为子女担忧之说显然对在加州那样前卫开放的环境中长大的孩子是苍白无力的。
