病情： 女孩，1岁9个月时发现患有右眼先天性白内障（congenital cataract）
1岁10个月进行手术植入人工晶体。之后，右眼患有近视性的形觉剥夺性弱势（form
deprivation amblyopia）,右眼视力4.0左右，散光度数较高。
目前国内治疗方案：1）配镜
2）遮盖疗法：每天遮盖健康的左眼8小时，一周遮盖6天。
3）精细目训练：每天遮盖健康的左眼后穿针60根。
4) 红光治疗仪：治疗过一个月，但孩子视力有下降趋势，故停止
了。
5) 口服药物：一直在吃乐盯，每天一粒。
治疗时间：12个月
治疗效果：右眼视力无明显提高。左眼视力有近视趋势。目前小孩是3周岁。
恳请大家看看，先天性白内障导致的形觉剥夺性弱势在美国有无更先进的疗法。孩子一

deprivation amblyopia is considered the most severe form of amblyopia.
Usually here in the states, congenital cataract has to be taken out between
1-2 months after birth, followed by optical correction (usually contact lens
) and extensive patching. Even with all this, visual recovery prognosis is
probably around 20/40 to 20/50. If the cataract remains there after 6

下面是一封申请EB2 NIW I-140的petition letter的范例。这是多年前公开发表在
MITBBS“落地生根”版上的一个帖子。现在重贴于此，供大家参考。
个人点评：EB2 NIW的申请是技术活，满足NIW的三个方面都必须论证到位，否则就通过
不了；而且论证过程中，有些关键词必须出现在移民官的视野里。这封petition
letter基本上达到了这几方面的要求。更难能可贵的是，这封petition letter的后面
，还列出了所有的exhibit，值得参考。
