My CA letter got rejected because of deficiency in psychiatry and 13 weeks
deficiency in elective ratation. The medical school has no idea how to fix
it.
I got the IV offer from UCI, but they want to see the CA letter before they
can give me the IV date.

发帖数: 319 | 3 不好意思，忘记说是UW pharmacology的题目。不知道把UW解释copy在这里是否
appropriate，就不贴了吧。不过解释里面没有提及pernicious anemia，倒是把每个答
案的给药途径都提了一遍。其他选项都是口服给药，B12主要是肠外给药，B12口服给药
主要针对dietary deficiency, 而题干里这个病人是balanced dietary.
觉的Aplusplus前辈讲得挺对！我开始看UW解释的时候不得要领，看了楼
上各位的回帖再回去看，才豁然开朗。而且UW也提到绝大部分B12 deficiency是吸收障碍
造成，特别是老人由于胃酸少 （achlorhydria) 导致B12吸收障碍很常见。
恩，这样子理解应该是对了，多谢大家发言！！ |

But the question topic is try to find the 10% vaccine deficiency in normal
people group, like one certain people will never get HIV.
According this question, my logic is very simple, both Th and APC with MHCII
can induce antibody from B cell, so only T cell lack ....can not induce
deficiency of antibody in normal person. Then b is not right. :)

发帖数: 44 | 14 今天得知了step3的成绩，210+，心里的石头终于落下。终于轮到我给USMLE说再见了。
回顾从step1自己闭门造车考了只带一个9的分数， step2开始参加小组学习，做了所有
能做的题只为拿个99，虽胸有成竹且考试感觉很好，最终但又得到一个9的分数。虽然
这次成绩不高，依然很高兴，毕竟不用发愁如果没过的话住院医开始后没有时间复习该
咋办。过去的3年中得到太多人的帮助 (此处略去人名20个)，绝大多数甚至从未谋面。
今天发贴也是为了回报我们这个社区吧。
自我介绍：毕业>15年，220+/220+/1st/210+；
复习时间：6月，头4个月每天约2-3小时，周末由于陪孩子们玩（前两年欠的太多，你
懂得）及做点家务（再不做但心被老婆炒掉），反而复习不了多少；最后2个月每天4小
时，鼓励自己考了这个2年内再不用受这个罪。
复习资料：随大流，MTB 3, UW CCS, UW step3 Qbank, UW step2 Qbank;
模拟：考前2月，NBME 1 190+, 考前1周，NBME 2 220+;

，到银行做公证。3月，我自己的材料、ECFMG、FSMB和国内学校的文件陆陆续续寄到
MBC (Medical Board of California)，噩梦开始酝酿。
国内学校非常给力，给了我去年通过认证的L5 form模板。依样画葫，稍稍改了改时间

measured under 2 conditions (Intact and Deficient) for each knee of each
patient. Therefore, the total sample size is 32. I want to compare the score
between two different conditions. Due to the small sample size,I think non-

阵rank只有1。无法求逆，自然也无法算density。其实Rank deficient的情况很多，常

营养不佳的孩子（VitA 缺乏或者marginal VitA status) 易患麻疹或者其他呼吸道感
染疾病。我个人认为可能很多情况并不知道自己体内有没有充足的Vit， 所以我就提到
要保持VitA在体内的正常水平。健康人群如果饮食平衡，应该不会缺乏VitA. 我发出帖

一些酷儿把它歪曲为我自己有缺陷不符合婚姻的条件,你就必须修改法律来适应我. 实
际上要的是凌驾于法律之上并且能够随意践踏法律的特权.一些道德败坏的政客为了选
票,丧失做人的基本原则,导致法律被随意践踏,酷儿形成黑帮.......

发帖数: 42149 | 44 据香港《明报》报道，香港最少有两名“男子”年逾60岁后患病求诊，才揭发自己是女儿身。当中一人罕有地同时患有两种性发育障碍疾病，下体有“小阴茎”，自小被当成男孩，直至66岁发现体内有巨大良性卵巢瘤，才确认其体内有卵巢、萎缩的子宫及输卵管，基因上是女性，但他最终继续相信自己是男性。
香港广华医院及伊利沙伯医院医生在《香港医学杂志》发表文章，汇报上述病例，该名66岁病人同时患 “21-羟化酶缺乏症”(21-hydroxylase deficiency)及“特纳氏综合症”(Turner's syndrome)，以致性发育障碍。
患者是华裔孤儿，在越南出生，他长有“小阴茎”，亦有胡子，故从小一直被当成男性，至今身高仅1.37米。他早前腹部肿胀及脚水肿持续一年，求诊发现有巨大肿瘤，其后证实是“卵巢粘液性囊肿”。他向医生透露，小时后曾出现“漏尿”情况。
该患者其后接受手术切除肿瘤，并发现其体内有女性性器官，包括输卵管、卵巢，以及已萎缩的子宫，而这些器官亦一并被切除。医生在手术后告知其状况，该患者继续相信自己是“男性身份”。

1981年6月5日，美国亚特兰大疾病控制中心在《发病率与死亡率周刊》上简要介绍了5例艾
滋病病人的病史，这是世界上第一次有关艾滋病的正式记载。1982年，这种疾病被命名为"
艾滋病"。不久以后，艾滋病迅速蔓延到各大洲。1985年，一位到中国旅游的外籍青年患病
入住北京协和医院后很快死亡，后被证实死于艾滋病。这是我国第一次发现艾滋病（见曾

1) China may extinct, due to the new threat of the world.
2) whether it is stable and united itself
3) deficient natural resource. for example, if China keeps selling rare
earth to other countries, what will left for its descendant.
