take. We have someone working on the process. ”

多么“成功”，人家录取的标准是将来这个人有多大几率能成功，学校能从这个人的成
功中获益多少。
比如据说小布什成绩非常差，但是yale要录取他，为什么？人家出身好，人家能成功的
几率比一个sat满分的普通家庭出身的孩子不知道高多少。
人家为什么要多招非裔，因为在现在的政治气候下，一个智力普通，情商正常的非裔将
来成功的几率比分数高几百分的亚裔高多了。本科生的情况不了解，但是如果非裔拿到
博士的话，只要有几篇正常的文章去做faculty简直探探囊取物，华裔呢，就算有CNS一

所以，使用AP的大原则是－－揣着AP出去，举着AP进来。
若在未收到AP离境，用H签证回来的, 后来AP也批了, 那么下一次旅行时可否用AP入境呢？若在收到renewal的AP之前离境呢？

，对你的非移民身份没有丝毫的影响。
而使用 AP 是特指申请人手持 AP 入境，使用 EAD 仅指用之于受雇。
AP/EAD 是 I-485 的 benefits（只要 I-485 在 pending, 就可以申请 AP or/and EAD
），而不是身份 (status). 所以，可以只在需要的时候才去申请，不需要有连续性。
AP/EAD 之间的间断，不造成身份的间断，不是 Gap.

签证之一的持有者，在拿到AP前出境，会自动取消你的485adjust of status申请。如
果你是H1签证，那么即使你没有申请AP你的485也不会受影响。
NOTE: Generally, if you are in the United States and have applied for
adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident, your
application will be deemed abandoned if you leave the United States without
