为什么大学里只靠教书不能拿个decent的工资？
我觉得对于大多数不是科研天才的人，2/3的时间用在教书上，1/3的时间用在横向或者
纵向课题上，是一个比较合理的分配，于己（免得自己都抱怨自己出垃圾文章）于社会
（少出垃圾文章）都是有利的。
但是现在高校有个倾向，就是大学里只靠教书拿不到decent的工资？
为什么？
高中老师还能拿不少工资呢。从工作的复杂程度和费脑程度，大学里教书拿更高的工资
也合情合理。
这个关节错在哪里？
学费收少了，还是高校养了一堆闲人？
包括美国高校，经常说只教书不拿科研经费的教授，系里不欢迎。难道本科的质量不更
是从教书的质量中得到体现么？ |

夫妻两人均为小硕海归，国内一线城市，家庭年收入税后60万，无孩子。
按理说这个收入应该在白领中属于中等偏上，海归中属于中等。
但实际感觉活得真的很累，想维持一个decent life很不容易。
具体支出情况：
衣（包括化妆品、香水等）：买的基本都是二线品牌，不敢买名牌。平均每月5000元左
右，每年6万。
食：早餐+午餐每人约35元，两人70/天。因为工作都比较忙，晚餐一般不自己做，约
200元。合计每天270元。偶尔朋友小聚有些额外支出，每月下来约7000元，一年8.4万。
住：国内房价太贵，只好租房。房租加水电、固定电话、手机、网络、物业、有线电视
等各类费用合计每月8000元，一年9.6万。
行：有车一部，一人开车上班，一人打车上班，外加周末短途自助游的开支，每月约
4000元左右，一年4.8万。
旅游：平均每月一次国内或者东南亚的短期旅游 |

我觉得这个decent，包括很多自由的程度，比如开车，美国没什么路桥费（当然NYC很
多），国内必需达到一定的收入才不在乎路桥费，这样才能跟美国的生活持平。就连帝
都的山姆购物（美国的Sam's club）都人山人海的，环境还不如Tops。公园等等就更不
用说了。运动的，这边随便一个YMCA的条件都不错，国内恐怕要花大价钱找个好的运动
中心了。 |
