留照片，景物

从湾区过去可以第一天住在lonepine的comfort inn, 七十多，还不错。
开到death valley一个多小时，沿途可以玩Darwin Falls, stovepipe wells village,
devils cornfield等。
到了death valley以后可以住在beatty的Motel 6，房间不大，但还干净整洁，五十多。
开到death valley的主要景点约四十分钟，有salt creek，golden canyon, artists
drive,natural bridge, badwater basin(lowest elevation in the U.S.282 ft
below sea level), rholite (ghost town), titus canyon,scotty's castle等 |

一般车都可以？其它公园好像要求不高，一般的车就可以吧？另外时间上怎么安排。在
Yosemite开一周会，其他4-5天够去其他3个公园吗？Death Valley多久够？如果不

valley via 160, only 87 miles and you can drive above 65 95% of the time.
觉得还是夏天去death valley比较有感觉。
if not google maps is correct: 152-I5-178-395。. do not go on 99, there will
be traffic for sure.

顺利，大概总共花了8小时左右（午餐在车上解决的）。
从death valley回来后才觉得湾区这些秃山还是很可爱，很接人气。
回来的时候，在I5上看到了一出悲剧，四俩车堆在了一起。真不知道他们那天晚上啥时
能到家。

个worse than death penalty的论调不是NCAA的人就是PSU的人星期天故意露出来的，
就是所谓的sources. They want you to believe.有消息说NCAA给PSU选择，要么是3年
或着是4年的death penalty,要么是这个，最后PSU选了这个。

终于等来了这一周，一个人自驾穿行在三四个州之间，陪伴我的就是大自然壮美的山和
水。
先从Vegas驱车日行五百多哩，来到了Monument Valley，继续沿着Rt. 163往东北开，
找到了阿甘当年跑步横穿美国停下来的地方。只是已近夕阳，逆光下远方的山丘只余剪
影。
再折返回到Monument Valley Tribe Park，里面的The View Hotel提供了无死角观赏落
日余晖的平台。

3/6 第一天
1. 启程
早上4点起床出发。途中试图吃In & Out未果，途经闻名已久的秃头山。中午11点左右
到达Emigrant营地，扎营上路。
2. Devils Cornfield，魔鬼的玉米地
植物顽强的生命力。
3. Mosaic Canyon，大理石山谷
细腻的岩壁，漂亮的花纹，流动的石头，大自然的神奇。
旅程中的第一次scramble，新学习的技能让一个崭新的世界从此打开了大门，原来爬山
不一定要走trail

发帖数: 329 | 33 这次去Vegas，顺便游览了Grand Canyon和Death Valley，发现GPS在这些地方不是很值
得依靠，经常会被领到死路上去，开着开着，前面就出现了一块private property的牌
子，不知道当地的地皮生意是不是特别好。
也不是说GPS完全不能相信，但是最好能参照地图double check一下。在Vegas城里还好
，如果是在Grand Canyon、Death Valley这样的地方迷路，后果就不堪设想了。
Death Valley和Grand Canyon的网站上，也提到游人迷路的事件。大家在去之前可以到
官方网站上查找路线，打印地图和当月专门的travel guide，都很有帮助。 |

第一张是今天早上起来，站在hotel外面拍的。
第二张是爬出Death Valley后，回头再看一眼，说一句“Goodbye， Death Valley”。

不通英语的发小犹他等了4个小时等待救援车。救援车用了不到10分钟换了备胎。摇摇
晃晃又上路。今天打电话给我告诉我被困在Death Valley了。
我已经警告过他几次。一定要在中午前离开Death Valley。下午有雷暴。结果命中注定
。他们游完Badwater美洲大陆最低点走错了路。没有原路返回而是继续向前走。哪方向
就是N年前死人有数的地方。结果如约碰到下午的雷暴。
还好他们命不该绝。估计本身煞气重还有真丝楠木珠链护体。上一次发小在川藏路遇到
泥石流醒来整辆车里面都是石头他都没死。看着漫山遍野的洪水冲下来沧海横流凭着RV
冲过去。挣扎着回到Furnace Creek做面条。与世隔绝看着水位不断地上涨。
公园管理员告诉他们方圆两百英里的道路都封了。要等大水过去再说。我深深地祝福他

Sudanese authorities are to free a woman who was sentenced to death for
having abandoned the Islamic faith, a foreign ministry official says.
Meriam Ibrahim, who gave birth to a daughter in custody, will be freed in a
few days, the official told the BBC.
Abdullahi Alzareg, an under-secretary at the foreign ministry, said Sudan
guaranteed religious freedom and was committed to protecting the woman.

understanding, usually the newborn also has some other non-cardiac
abnormalities which causes the death (not ASD by itself, but other
abnormalities). If ” infant”, it could cause death (unusual under current
medicine), but depends on the defect location, size, extracardiac defects,
the infant can present heart failure, recurrent respiratory infection. |
