我觉得中国现在应该由教育部统一制定一个专门的中英词汇表，对一些专门名词统一英
语翻译，比如各种奖励（三好学生、各种奖学金，名誉称号等等），教职员职称职务等
等，这样比较严肃。。。不像现在大家随便来。。。
台湾还是比较规范的，比如台大专门有个词汇表：

但是提供的论据只是：1. this study may lay the groundwork for the development

看看你们去过几个？
排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。说最近有一个Duchamp
and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

洛杉矶地区没有最好的私立高中，只有最合适的私立高中。四所最严格私立高中是
Flintridge Prep, Pasadena Poly, Webb 和 Harvard-Westlake. 有些人可能会说最严
格的就是最好的，但对于大部分学生来说这种说法不对。对于大部分学生来说这种严格
的学校压力过大，每晚五小时的家庭作业 (脑子好使的), 加上周末，从九年级开始就
用大学程度课本。再加上2到3小时的体育训练或者演奏练习，加上社团，公共服务，和
课外活动。在申请大学的时候，大学不会因为你上一所非常难的私立学校，而对你网开
一面，反而在这里更难拿到好成绩。
最好从你所居住的周围开始咨询，因为你不会想要每天开很远的路程。就算是比较不那
么难的学校每晚也有3到4小时的家庭作业。有些学校有非常强的运动计划或者艺术计划

不过现在不是最好的季节，秋天会更美，可以看红叶，现在只能去看花
没有直飞的航班，需要飞到Charlotte，机票很便宜，往返300多，然后租车开过去，大
约2小时不到车程
抓紧时间的话Day 1中午之前可以抵达，下午直接去Biltmore Estate，门票$60，小贵
Day 2可以去Blue Ridge Parkway，可惜我没去，功课没做好，就知道比较出名的
Smokey Mountain，当然大雾山其实也不错，北卡的入口在Cherokee，距离Asheville一
小时车程。更可惜的是去的那天下雨，一个trail都没走，啥都没看到，主要还是太懒
，下山天都黑了，感觉相当危险，所以去山里玩一定得赶早
Day 3就在Asheville Downtown逛逛，很有意思的小城，满大街都是hipsters，各种好

According to a report from the Birmingham News, Missouri may not have the
support needed to join the SEC after all.
The News's Jon Solomon reported Thursday morning that the "majority" of
conference presidents and ADs would support the Tigers' application to
become the league's 14th team, but that that majority "falls just short of
the nine votes required" to give Missouri final approval.

SEC leaders met Monday for their regularly scheduled fall meeting but took
no action on expansion.
The SEC says in a statement that the presidents and chancellors "discussed a
wide range of issues dealing with the changing landscape of intercollegiate
athletics" but didn't make any moves on expansion.
The SEC is adding a 13th member when Texas A&M joins the league in July.
