而汉语说的是弱智，好一点是智障，如果直译大概就是weak intelligence，
intelligence impediment，直指intelligence，就很难听。
再比如残疾，英语是handicapped或者disabled，也比较委婉，但就是这样美国人还不
是很满意。
而中国等于是直译amputated/crippled illness，太难听。
这都只是翻译过来才能更明显的意识到。可以设想美国人学汉语学到这样的词会什么感
想。
当然也许也有反例，我还没想到。 |
