发帖数: 140 | 1 凌晨3点10分，醒来，大概睡了4个小时。想起床看书，但是筋疲力尽。
在床上继续挣扎，无奈的时候狠狠地揍了我的床，揍在床头的板上的时候都不知道
自己的手在疼。
7点一刻，受不了，起床吧。本来说好要跟妈妈打电话的，最后郁闷得都忘记了。
8点50才出门赶9点的counseling。今天的session真是获益良多，一个小时以后出
来感觉换了一个人。想跟大伙分享一下，希望对大家有用。
首先向counselor抱怨了自己怎么睡不好吃不好，心情怎么的不好，得到理解。
counselor给我了一个紧急电话，就是让我要是 commit crisis的时候打的，已经牢记
于心。然后又问我对medication的看法。我忙说可以可以没问题，不过我不想吃药（主
要是怕依赖和没钱！）
上周的作业是留意自己的thoughts，看看如何影响feelings的。这个作业估计是世
界上最烂的作业了，就是因为把自己的thoughts记录下来，恐慌得不得了。今天一提起
来又是心慌，慌得很。最后counselor说，选择一个你最想改变的东西吧。我一下子就
受不了了，猛说，ev |

发帖数: 6 | 2 是啊，试试别的医生吧。如果有信得过的朋友，也问问。我的counselor就是老美同事
推荐的，很不错。
我不喜欢药物，但也用过。不喜欢是因为潜意识“为什么自身不能抵抗愈合？这说明我
太脆弱，有问题”。在私底下嘀咕很久以及自己反复折腾后终于同意我counselor说的
：每个人情况都不同，有人CBT就行，有的必须药物，有的两个一齐上，有的等状态控
制住了就可以慢慢停药。

个人经验

我的主要问题：
- 期求完美，不然就觉得是失败，或吓得自己不敢开始；
- 看自己/别人/事情只盯着不好的不完美的；人为放大不好的，忽视好的部分；
- 生活单调，除了工作没有别的，一旦工作不顺利就怀疑自己能力觉得天都塌了
我从2004年折腾起，好好坏坏。药控制住了最坏状态，CBT和counselor帮助我调节，最
终到达（CBT指导下的）自己思考方式的转变。意识到只有改变自己，才能真正彻底恢
复。之前我就盯着“赶紧好赶紧停药恢复正常”，老想着“我必须尽快好”。而当我意
识到“改变自己”时，身心放松了一大截，觉得自己找到了问题的根源。一旦根源去除
了，还用发愁depression |

counselor抱怨说她一饿了就不高兴，counselor说你血糖有没有问题？我说我有糖尿病
她一幅你咋不早说这不就结了的样子。可是我看我的family doctor她化验来化验去总
说我控制得挺好的。问题是我不舒服阿。体重掉回大学时代了。。。
我觉得我现在跟老头老太太一样，定点得吃饭睡觉否则就不行了。不过这么多年我一直
是特别规律的。所以估计就是生娃这个比较stress的事情没搞定就歇菜了 |

八年前的这个季节，从国内来到美国。来美前，博士毕业后在一研究所工作了近5年。
期间主持完成了自己的第一个NSFC课题。由于不喜欢那里的小环境，离开那里后到西北
一大学工作。幸运的是，在那里又拿到了第二个NSFC课题，加上省部和学校的资助，支
起了还算小有起色的一摊子。虽然那的科研条件比原单位差一些，但一个人在那干了近
三年的时间，教书、带研究生、作科研，每天忙碌着，干着自己愿意干的事，少了原单
位的勾心斗角，而且在学生面前第一次觉得自己还是个有用之人，所以也很快乐。无奈

我在美国的小学和中学都做过counselor，我告诉你一些真人真事的个案。一个中国孩
子成绩非常优秀，又会多种乐器，在学校的乐队和校报社非常受欢迎和器重，就是这样
一个优秀的孩子偏偏被扁得很惨，因为他的出色和受欢迎引得某些同常咬牙切齿妒忌，
所以他被狠狠扁了。孩子的家长是一对教授夫妇，反对孩子和人打架，孩子只能东躲西
躲，每天上学都非常害怕，每次在被揍被欺负後，只能跑去老师处投拆。面对
counselor，这个孩子说父母怪他没有做好自己，不懂和同学相处和沟通，更说他可能
是做了什么得罪同学的事，建议他向同学道歉，这个中国孩子觉得非常委屈极了，哭了
起来，让人见到都心酸。後来，这个孩子的父母为了孩子不再被欺负，给孩子转了学，
不过，很难说孩子在新的学校不会面对这种conflict，难道又要孩子转校，一世做逃兵？
我把这个个案说出来，是要说明:
1)孩子在校被揍被欺负与他是否受欢迎，是否出色无关，正所谓不招人妒是庸才。
2)其实在美国的学校里，中国的孩子被picked on的原因可以很简单，主要还是因为他

们其实很难判断他们谁是谁非，比如说，楼主也可能夸大了自己的问题。Marriage
Counselor会比较客观一些。当然，要两个人都有这个意愿才行。
目前楼主可以做的是，去做心理咨询，学校里应该有免费的。第一是好好调整自己的心
态，其次才考虑婚姻。 |

Here is one example: I asked the kids to eat dinner while he was watching TV

WORCESTER — A judge approved a $7 million settlement this afternoon in a
medical malpractice case involving the birth of a child with a rare genetic
defect.
In their 2008 lawsuit against two doctors, a nurse practitioner and a
genetic counselor, Ran Zhuang and her husband, Zhiru Guo, both from the
Peoples Republic of China, alleged that Ms. Zhuang was not provided proper

one to check your sevis status. I called 5 counselor in my ISS and the last
one gave me the number finally. |

LZ是accouting的研究僧，明年毕业，现在虽然正在一家唐人街的小会计公司做着个免
费劳动力的intern，但是人往高处走嘛，想继续寻个大点的正规公司，最后还是有PAID
来贴补下可怜的生活费。
故事要从上上周说起。。。一个同学在和朋友聚餐时认识了一个八竿子打不着的朋友，
就叫他M吧，这厮正好是在一家CPA firm实习，M问我同学想不想去实习啊？他们公司正
打算招INTERN呢，我同学当然说好啊，M说那你明天给我发个简历吧。我同学回家一查
那个公司，是CPA firm没错，但是灰常的远啊，她从家坐地铁什么要1个小时差不多，
她就懒了，问我想去不。我比她住的还远啊！我要是坐地铁的话，单程就要将近两个小
时有木有！~但是思来想去的，觉得也是个机会，还是试试吧，人家也不一定要你，但
有人REFER机会能大点。 我就屁颠屁颠的改简历，给人发过去了。
这里加一句哈，为了显得我简历看着丰富点，我把在国内的工作经验也加进去了，当时
也是画蛇添足了，所以简历就成了一页半，第一页主要是在美国的经验，后半页是国内

发帖数: 461 | 45 你需要的不仅是提高English, 而且要熟悉相关行业的就业发展情况．
我建议你去找Career Counselor. 他们会替你分析你的选择和制定相应的职业发展计划
的．恐怕你得准备付费．他们大多来自Counseling Psychology专业，有硕士或以上学
位．
中国人学这行的不多见，我在美国读研究生的时候， 得知有中国人居然因为听不懂客
户的话，实习失败， 第五年从Ph.D program被淘汰． 你如果对你的英语自信， 可
以去找美国人咨询．注意最好找一个本科背景和你相似的，那样他更好理解你的处境．
不过这样难度更高， 因为很多Career Counselor 的undergraduate不是食品或相关专
业的．
放弃你的专业很可惜， 建议你从事相关行业．

在这件事上, 你不是我的客户, 所以你不如我的客户和我的老板, 同事们有发言权.
大部分美国Career Counselor的英文比你我好吧? 他们手里待业的客户多了.
你们学校的美国Career Counselor要是很好, 那么你不会来联系我.
仅凭一个人的英文口音就说他浪费别人的时间, 恐怕证据不足吧? 再说了, 我要是浪费他人的时间,
那么几年来我老板也不会让我坐在办公室里-整个部门我的placement rate 最高了. 如果不合格,行业协会不可能给我执照和证书的.
fact 2:
沟通中有期望的问题. 因为你不是我的客户, 所以你没有从我这里得到有效的建议.
你恨我不帮你也可以理解. 我告诉你现在找工作不容易， 现在不断攀升的失业率
也是这样的意思啊．
fact3:
如何保住你的工作显然比在这里写post更有意义. 毕竟新工作对你是有要求的.
fact4:
就事论事，你没有金钱上的损失．请不要随意公开私人谈话．
职业咨询是很现实的．我只不过是说，凡事早做打算，不必到时候手忙脚乱．有人学piano perform |

学校的Career Center有Career Counselor, they will help you free of charge.
但我发现那里的人水平参差不齐， 如果发现他们不好的话， 赶快换人．
resume改的好, 有锦上添花的作用. 200$也很正常, 估计经济不好时, 他们的生意很好－所以很多学校里的Career Counselor嫌学校里钱少， 辞职到那里发财去了. 但你如果实力不够或有不好找工作的专业, 找工作还是很难的.
找工作是一个系统工程, 光有吸引人的resume就象只有漂亮衣服, 却没有好的
Model. 那么最后的时装发布会也不太可能成功. 如果忽视了找工作的技巧和面试的准
备, 还有提高外语和个人的综合素质(包括专业水平和个人的修养), 那么就算拿到面试
也很难通过. 现在雇主至少要准备找上半打人telephone interview, on-site面试至少
有3个吧(当然也是看position而定), 竞争很激烈, 如果没有较强的综合实力, 还是外
国移民, 要sponsor H |
