说我没经过他们 我擅自改变了plan

发帖数: 1593 | 26 刚刚收到公司的w2，发现gross pay多了$21k。问payroll，给出一个excel sheet，三
个月的corporate housing，税后$12K,加交的税总共是$21K。公司的recruiter
process是外包的，听说有一部分钱，如果它们不给我，外包公司就拿了。当时加入公
司的时候不要corporate housing，要求relocation再多给个$5000 cash，死活不同意
。现在居然多这么多。
而且住的地方知识1-bed townhouse，很一般的那种， 家具很cheap，两个星期一次的
house keeping。有个同事正好隔壁，自己租没有家具的$900一个月。我想就算有家具
的，$1500一个月顶天了吧。今天看到那个数字，确实吓了一跳，觉得租房公司和那个
外包公司可能有什么猫腻在里面。
当时被这个recruiter外包公司搞得很不爽，现在虽然税公司已经代交了，但是不知道
自己在保税的时候要不要交。此外，觉得这是一个scam，想要不要给公司报告一下，求
建议，谢谢。 |

name of the corporation that provides the leased car (and effectively owns
it..)
or
the previous buyer registered the car under his/her business rather than his
/her own name for tax reasons.....
or
a company purchased the car for its ceo, cfo, coo or someone they hired not
from the area as a commute car
I wouldn't worry about it especially you buy it from a reputable dealership
rather than a small 2nd hand car lot |

Amazon places people in different apartments at different locations.
When I relocated here six years ago, I lived in Harbor Steps, which is very
nice. If you don't have a family, I suggest you to negotiate and get at
least 45 or 60 days of corporate apartment. You'll be working a lot (Amazon
is a sweat shop, but you will learn a lot.)

charge of corporate apartments. And the apartments they offer seem more
expensive. Well, I only checked out the downtown area since I am hoping to
find a place near where I work.
I think I will turn to craiglist instead of corporate apartments.

以前做过一个小的non-profit的内部会计internship （unpaid），觉得实际上公司里
的会计职位似乎对口头表达能力会比auditing firm低很多，而对detail-oriented方面
要求多一些。所以我好奇，corporate里的accounting会不会更适合我们这些不如美国
本土人能说会道的中国人呢？但是对于没有绿卡的人直接去corporate的accounting
entry-level position有可能不？

时到七点下班。最糟糕是工资低的可怜，没法在NYC生活。 工作肯定是要换的,只是现
在很迷茫不知要找puplic firm 还是继续private corporation。一年半的bookkeeper
经验，对AP, AR, bank rec., general ledger 都甚了解。 CPA 考试一门都还没过，
对四大没兴趣（四大对我也没兴趣吧）。 还有生BB也是我和LG未来几年的计划，再2年
就30了，双方父母都在催了。。。 |

我们学校同时有这个两个master专业。Corporate accounting 好像更偏重于在中小公
司工作，审计课也有不少。Assurance Accounting 主要是在大公司做审计。那我是不
是可以理解为，Corporate Accounting既可以做审计，也可以做一般的会计呢？如果要
做审计，进四大，是不是一定还是要assurance专业比较好呢？我在的这个小城市，只
有四大中间的一家。也有一些其他的做审计的小公司，这样做单审计是不是就业面比较
