Authentication of Documents and the Apostille （公证认证业务），上面应该有解
释怎么做。
州务卿认证是在出生纸原件上又多了州务卿盖章的一页发来的认证上大概内容是说“我
，州务卿YYY认可签发该出生证的XXX人是我们州Vital office的有效员工”之类的信息。
补充一下，我们当时是把出生证寄去州务卿办公室办理的，寄去后几天还收到那
边打来的电话问我们这份认证目的是干什么，我们也告诉他是为了到中国纽约领事处进
行领事认证，那边说明白了。 |

中国公民享有在中国的永久居留权（right of permanent residence），当然可以被看
做resident of China。在正式的条文中（http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-trty/china.pdf中的article 19），把“a Contracting State”替换成美国，把“the other Contracting State”替换成中国，楼主就符合条件了。
楼主是不是在申请2019表时，把contry of permanent residence写成丹麦了？所以HR
被搞糊涂了。 |

知道的区别有：

you got new DS2019 with extended stay, this means your application for
status extension IS successful, it is DONE. you do not need to do anything else,
why worry so much? if you don't need to leave and re-enter US shortly, why
worry visa stamp? when you need to go back to china for visit or go to other contry
on business or for conference next time , then you need to apply outside of US for
a new visa stamp. |

The lady there told me to go to apply visa in London, UK.
I told her that I am from mainland China, and asked if I can apply my visa
from the third contry ( e.g. UK). She said she thought I can.
I asked her if Canada is a better option. She suggested not to go Canada,
because people often got checked and stuck there.
But I don't know if I should listen to her. She sounds like knowing very
little.

contribution里，io说的清楚：你的推荐信里没有提到一个specific original contri
bution。你自己查查你的推荐信是怎么写的。
review部分参看版上一些 RFE 回复。有些IO给出了非常详细的要求。对照一下你自己写
的。
authorship里，IO 要求你用 plain english。你光大段的抄有什么用。io 压根看不懂
。按照io要求重新组织。另外IO没叫你问引用者要推荐信。你再仔细读读io的话。

Citation comparison: the Times higher education citation average (two of my
papers are 3 to 5 times higher than the average, it may be still a bit too

Are these good enough for NIW?
Also, my papers and citations are low. Should I mention the number in PL?

三口之家大概能花到3万?反正博士后过得紧的很少听说,高档消费品最好从美国或者香
港买好带过来
如果2年合同并且没有希望续的话,提名PR的可能性不大,不过现在好像有些什么2+1的说法
如果你缴税,那么就能退税,比如老婆不工作,有$1600+,孩子还有其他补助,生孩子也发
钱,生孩子的费用可能要依赖医疗保险(这你自己额外买-如果没PR的话,不过你不用交
medicare税),去公立基本不用自己掏钱
很多信息也许不准确,但这些都是次要的,关键是你是否觉得对你职业和人生规划有意义
,从学术上和财富上,来澳大利亚,可能要牺牲一些东西
关于澳大利亚当地人素质,就看运气了,UNSW应该还好,移民多的地方会好些 |
