willing to repackage and file it as NIW. But he kept telling me that since I
am a relatively young scientist, it is hard to show my impact on the field,
which is also a requirement for NIW. How do people show your research
impact on the field? Is it an absolute requirement for NIW? I am just afraid
that the lawyer just won't work hard on the NIW case since he is not
getting more money on that. He already did a pretty bad job on my EB1-B.
Here is my background, and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot!
Ph.d Environmental engineering 2009 (top 3 university) since I have a very
broad research background, I filed it in the field of Chemical Engineering (
my undergrad major)
Paper: 5 (all first author, English journal)
conference posters: 8
citations: ~ 30
Review: 6 (three different journals)
Reference letter: 8 (2 FDA, 2 NASA, 2 from my own university, and 2 from
other research centers that used and will be using the assay I developed in
grad school)
Working in a small biotech company now. |

My lawyer keeps telling me that there is no risk of filing NIW. But other
lawyers told me that you don't want to have too many denials with your file.
It will make it a lot harder to get approval later.

特别多，猜想是不是他比较senior.
他的RFE应该也是模板型的，authorship过 ，你review那几个估计他也会给你过，然后
就是
contribution and totality. 这个应该是这样的吧？ 能说说你的RFE都是如何应答的
吗 ？这样大家再帮你出出主意？

recognized internationally as outstanding researcher.
When we addressed RFE, we only claimed the two that were met. And we got two
more independent references, and two letters from chief editors of two
journals,two NewRX reports, and another letter from my ph.d adviser that the
technologies I worked on in grad school was licensed by another company.
On the denial notice, he didn't mention anything specific from the RFE
response, just said that he made the decision taking into account the new
evidence submitted.

发帖数: 91 | 11 No. I didn't submit newRX reports in the very beginning, since I didn't know
it was useful. I learned it from the board and asked my lawyer, he said ok,
we can use that.
I didn't have any references from oversea. But I do have lots of people from
other countries emailed me to request a reprint of one paper, and ask about
some information on how to design their experiments.

EB1-B:
Citation map: Researchers from ~10 to 15 contries cited my papers
Reviews: 6
Citation comparison: the Times higher education citation average (two of my
papers are 3 to 5 times higher than the average, it may be still a bit too
low)
Are these good enough for NIW?
Also, my papers and citations are low. Should I mention the number in PL?

让他修改推荐信，让他写好PL...等等。不过，所有他的东西都不可再相信，你自己好
好版上考古，采用他的框架（毕竟他是律师，好歹应该有点常识），自己好好修改，最
后自己投递到USCIS.这种不负责的律师，在free的情况下，全靠他，很危险。

IO is compaining. This is to show the respect to the IO. If the IO feels
good, he may let people pass.

When comparing with all the templates I got from other people, my lawyer
didn't do a good job highlighting my achievements (even I don't have many).
He was more or less like just listing all the evidences, and said I met the
criteria for EB1-B.
