又是新的一年，新的开始！很多人的新年愿望就是买房。但在湾区来说，买房实在不是
一件容易的事情。首先，湾区的房产价格在过去几年间大幅上扬，让房子的可负担性明
显降低。其次，由于僧多粥少，抢房极其厉害，很多买家下了十几次的单子，就是买不
到。市场上出现了极端供不应求的情况。
一、2017年市场回顾
2017年是市场竞争十分激烈的一年，年度销售房子的数量连续处于下跌的情况，而买家
人数则不断上升。因此出现了诸如几十人抢一房的疯狂情况，并爆出了 Sunnyvale 的
一套独立屋房子加价 80 多万的历史记录，以及 Mountain View 一套联排加价 50 多
万的离奇抢房事件。
下面是湾区五县2017年的房子销售数据。表中的溢出率是指售价与要价的比例，在市天
数是指从上市到下市的时间。
从表中可以看出，除了旧金山和康曲卡斯特县，其余三县的房子中值均比2016年增长了
10%以上，延续了多年房地产市场的快速增长态势。

偶有个疑问：什么是 contra account? 偶查了偶手上的解释，不能帮偶理解。一并贴在
下面：

allowance for uncollectibles, which serves to keep track of the estimated
amounts of accounts receivable expected not to be collected.
纪录其他账目的减少的账目？坏账预提怎么能keep track of 预估不能兑现的accounts
receivable的数目？就算能，它怎么是纪录 不能兑现的accounts receivable 的减少的
账目？
如果我们不考虑matching principle, 为什么prepaid expense不是expense的contra
account?

1999年5月，在巴尔干半岛的科索沃战争中 ，北约组织的军队空袭南斯拉夫。却不料一
架美军B-2型轰炸机发射的三枚精确制导炸弹误中了中国大使馆，炸死三人，炸伤数十
人。在北京和中国其他许多城市，众多愤怒的学生和市民上街举行反美游行。他们认为
美国飞机轰炸中国大使馆是蓄意行为。
江泽民最初不接道歉电话
2004年，美国前总统克林顿的自传《我的一生》(My Life)出版，其中多处谈到他执政
期间美中关系的风波。

BAY POINT, Calif (KTVU & BCN) - A driver who reportedly died in a crash on
state Highway 4 in Pittsburg this afternoon was shot before he crashed into
a center divider, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said they found three bullet holes in the passenger side of
the car, but are still looking into the circumstances that led up to the
