有一个veer的手机，和touchpad的关系就类似iphone和ipad。hp本来还是有准备的。结
果搞成这副样子了。
这个veer的手机只有一张信用卡那么大。也有很多很fancy的功能。跟touchpad匹配使
用，性能很强大的。你可以在没有wifi的地方用veer上网，然后掏出touchpad。两个互
相一碰，屏幕就变成一样的内容。
本来是蛮好一个系统。结果被webos拖了后腿。我是因为被webos搞怕了。不然还是会去
搞这么个unlock的手机玩玩的。就是放口袋里面，用家里或者公司的网看email。挺好
用的。
我感觉要做飞机哥，这个手机是必须的。这样可以针对每一个鹊桥女生，注册很多
email account。然后一次收信。回信也能及时。technology的进步常常让女生感觉好
像男生很真诚。其实就跟芯片速度快了，很多app同时跑结果也没感觉慢的道理类似。 |

FNMA把整个CA放入Declining Market, 银行开始调整，原先只有
Alameda, Contra Coast是Declining Area，现在Santa Clara, San
Mateo也不能幸免了，哪怕PA, Cupertino还在涨也算Declining area。
也就是要25%的Downpayment才能做loan。
Pit要笑了，金老可能终于能等到PA/Monta Vista跌的那一天了。
这应该是房黑最大的利好消息吧！

比如，老人30年前25岁的时候买了5万块的房子。那么他当年交的地税就600，30年后就
1086（每年增长率2%）然后55岁的时候买了100万的房子。地税就可以保持1086。不过
这个有限制的。我知道老人从contra costa 搬到alameda就不行。我妈妈后来想过要从
richmond搬回alameda就得不到这个优惠。 |

这个案子估计只有郭红能解释为什么她会失控撞上同方向的骑车人，从报道看100%是她
的责任，路况不好不是撞死人的理由。

county, 不是狭义的union city 一带。住berkeley, albany, orinda, alameda附近的
到san francisco downtown, bart时间半小时就够了。如果住的近Bart，45分钟应该能
到。即使住城里golden gate park 一带，如果开车上班，堵车时也要半小时。何况
downtown停车费很贵，很少有公司报销吧。如果能坐上muni,估计会快些。
总而言之，城里的房子除了旧和贵外，主要问题是便宜的size太小，与邻居房子太近（
一寸间隔），要能将就，还是城里最好。 |

contra costa有一个basic health care plan，不知道其他county是否也有，alameda
好像是有的。这个plan可以任何年龄，根据你的收入缴纳很少或者免费的保费，就可以
去几个公立医院看病，就是人比较多，质量好像还凑合，检查和药物都是免费的，我有
个朋友的母亲也是59岁，一直用这个。 |

通知市政债券市场他们正面临重大的财政难关，包括4月宣布进入财政紧急状况的北湾
费菲尔(Fairfield)。

华人很友好。你没看oakland的senior center有多少中国人在住。相比来说，contra
costa是老墨的地盘。
这个案件其实是正常程序，父母现在可能还在保释期间，美国的各种警察报告是看上去
很让人恼火的，都有夸张的成分，但是法庭也不完全信警察就是了。美国的司法制度的
好处就是完全独立。法庭最恨的一个是政府的干涉，另外一个就是媒体的干涉。所以这
人现在找媒体，这根本就是浪费时间的，以为还在中国大陆。他如果想早点把孩子弄回
来，还是找个好点律师，在法庭上态度好点比较重要。在法庭和法警冲突，这根本就是
藐视法庭，法官随便把你排期往后推两次，几个月就过去了。 |

如果在Contra Costa County, 可以申请Basic Health Care，急诊，看病，体检都包括
了，但要到指定的Medical Facility去看，选择范围比MediCal少。别的County我不太
清楚，大家可以试试在自己所居住的County网站上查一下是否有相关信息，一般是和关
于MediCal申请在同一个网站。 |
