say the weather in that area is not very pleasant. Most of the days in a
year it is cloudy, foggy and relatively colder. Depends on if your are that
kind of person whose mood can be affected by the weather easily :) |

bags. I seriously think LZ is crazy taking a 2.5 year old to housekeeping
camp this time of year. If the weather doesnt get a lot warmer by then,
there will still be some snow on the ground, and that camp "house" doesnt
even have a door. It is a lot colder camping with a good tent. |

The communite in Plateau is not as convenient as Bellevue\Redmond\ Issaquah.
Also, it is colder (3 degree lower) in the winter time.
As the gas price is soaring, you save more time and $$$ if you live closer

colder months, very dry, polluted, ... I plan to move back to East Coast if
I can. One more thing, I've never seen more filthy daycares in other states.

What SLC has to offer:
1. much better skiing and very close to town.
2. much better place for rock climbing, and better place for ice climbing.
3. better place for mountain biking.
4. closer to Colorado for 14ers hiking.
5. Overall better weather. Much more sunshine, but hotter in summer and
colder in winter.
6. lower housing price.
7. better gun laws.

speed 49 shuttle in a cold environment (colder than 18C or 64F), or the

choose large white swans instead of small dull-colored loons.
Most MN lakes should have the similar sceneries. I don't know if the MN
lakes are colder than MI's weatherwise. Many MI people here come to MN to
fish for Northern Pikes. They all told me that the Boundary Waters area is
very pretty dotted with lakes and islands.
