西医讲 causality
A发生了，B随之发生，这是 coincidence
A发生了，B往往发生，这是 correlation
A导致了B发生，这才是 causality
coincidence多，correlation少，causality更少。coincidence里只有一
小部分是causality。
揉脾，然后头皮屑消失可能只是 coincidence，不一定是 correlation，更不
一定是 causality。
西医通过coincidence发现方法（当然通过其他的途径），通过临床试验研究
correlation，最终目的是证明有没有causality。
中医基本上就是直接拿coincidence当causality，结果自然对少错多。这个其
实也是人类思维的弱点，人容易犯的一种错误。 |

i can say it from both 理性 and 感性, 前面已经说过了.
我就是doubt这个truth, 感性上,我每次去看医生,中国店,drive by,都明显感到劳模比
相邻城市多. 理性上,18%劳模,理论上每5个人里就有一个劳模,你说你住那里,又never
see 劳模, 谁信啊?
什么是coincidence? 是我coincidence, 还是你coincidence? 18%的概率您都never
happens, 谁coincidence哈?
我论的是事实,不是谁care不care,你再care,黑的也白不了,再不care,白的也黑不了.
再说,我也没说劳模多不好.至少你要买毒品就得去palatine.这个到是coincidence, 我
第一次去就误闯了人家毒品交易区. 当然后来有意识的避免去那里,所以这个概率有很
大水份.
北/西北面好几个富人区,商场,餐馆等等都得有劳模打工,人家也得有地方住不是? 价钱
要便宜,距离又不能太远,所以只有palatine合适了,间顾两个地区,房价又便宜.以我的

这起事件和亚航失联事件有什么联系呢?
12月11晚，亚航泰国曼谷飞往南京(期间因发生泡面事件返航)，那对情侣竟然是中南海

一飞机的人。
他们提前知道美国要对亚航下手， 第一次就是那个航班，几乎都是中国乘客。

I learned this from a mistake though. We used a "friend" as our buyer agent,
we still get screwed if not by coincidence.
We made an offer that is about 8% lower than our bottom line and aboutc 15%
lower than the listing price. We told this agent about the bottomline
because he has been our friend for some time. The seller started to counter
offer at a slow pace toward the big gap but never rejected our offer.

这个符合一个理论－－但只是coincidence，不是证明：
小孩长高是by spurt的：骨骼变长不是均匀的，是一段一段的。每次growth spurt，
muscle大概需要半年左右才能跟上，更不用说各种小肌肉的平衡、谐调了－－
teenager经常会physically clumsy，就是这个原因。我家娃网球教练说，7、8岁的孩
子很多都很wobbly，也是这个原因growth spurt的原因， 所以练球时教练对某些方面
的差，比较见怪不怪。
据美国的一些资深教练说（有兴趣的可以google）, 这种growth spurt发生时，教练和
家长的主要关注，应该是防止受伤： 在此期间适当控制运动强度，因为孩子不适应新
增长的长度和相对弱的肌肉力量， 容易受伤。
这个coincide with 前边帖子说的受伤的后来长高了 －－ 有一个可能性是，突然串个
子的，教练不懂得这个道理，训练没有适当调整，所以容易受伤。

on NPR! And, according to you, on the same radio station, today there was
another interview mentioned Google Maps and reading. Although I didn't get
to hear that interview, but somehow, out of nowhere, in the middle of the
night, I decided to write a post on this same topic! And somehow, just a few
