coffer grounds, dry leaves ( not fresh grass or leaves), wood chips，
newspaper or washer and dryer lint to balance the ratio of C:N.
Spin your compost bin regularly, but not too often. your compost need oxygen
help to finish the decomposition.
Watch out the temperature of your compost pile. Keeping composting pile heat
up to 110-140°F in two or three days is ideally.

罗马，古老庄严却又青春洋溢。
去罗马之前，听人说过，罗马整座城市就是一个巨大的博物馆。这句话，不走在罗马的
大街上，是体会不出来的。我去了许许多多必去的经典景点，和一堆游客摩肩接踵。也
在TIBER河对面的居民区闲庭漫步，看到不少神采飞扬时尚帅气小西装短西裤的意大利
帅哥。总而言之看惯了美国山姆大叔的牛仔裤和体恤衫，罗马男人穿着打扮的精细让我
映像深刻。
之所以要特别提到罗马时尚的一面，是因为我想象的罗马就是古迹成堆，“老”气横秋
的一个城市。可是奔走在大街小巷，听着POD里有关罗马城大大小小的历史典故，路过
各式各样的餐厅和室外咖啡馆，我只觉得这个城市既有庄严肃穆的历史厚重，又有着一
股子活在当下的洒脱随意。
在罗马的每一天都令人惊叹，去的每一个景点都让我流连忘返。我想我对罗马印象如此
之好，也和我的准备充分有关。我一早就在亚马逊（AMAZON）上买了写旅行书声誉颇高
的瑞克，史蒂文（RICK STEVES） 近一千页的《意大利2014》（ ITALY 2014）。其实
刚拿到这本书的时候的心里颇为失望。书非常厚，印刷质量一般，字小且密密麻麻，图

在罗列景点之前，我想先聊聊在罗马的一段小邂逅。一日下着大雨，我躲进了Triton
喷泉广场的临街的一家咖啡馆，找了个面向广场的小桌子坐下，一边喝咖啡，一边等
雨停。坐我旁边的是一位年轻漂亮的莫斯科女孩，她告诉我这是她第三次来罗马，然后
问我去了哪些地方，听我提到竞技场，她说队伍太长懒得等，想来找时间还是要去看看
。我一听挺吃惊的，来罗马三次居然没去过著名的竞技场？尽管我知道从莫斯科到罗马
要近得多，还是觉得有点难以想象。联想到我在飞机上邂逅的德国大叔在电子邮件中也
直呼我的行程紧，应该留给自己多点时间什么也不干，我开始意识到，世界上有趣的地
方那么多，没有非去不可的地方，没有非做不可的事情，不管脚步是快是慢，缘分总会
把我们带到每一个我们愿意花力气花时间的地方。
当然，罗马的每一个地方在我看来都是值得花力气的。哈哈。
如果一定要排出一个最喜欢的景点，那就是万神殿（PANTHEON）了。万神殿是一个相当
古朴的建筑，比起圣彼得大教堂以及其它很多教堂，其内外的修饰简直称得上寒酸。可
是一旦走进这个神殿，你就会不由自主地往上观望那个巨大圆形的屋顶，BIGGER THAN
