Last summer I went from Shanghai to Beiging by this train. Wasn't impressed
much. The longest was the queue for taxi after the trip。

Travelled on them. They are clean, cheap,quiet and a guaranteed seat when
you purchase a ticket. Oh and they leave and arrive on time to the second.

These very integral systems, be they sewer, water, the electrical grid,
transportation, etc., are in dire need and would spark the economy by the
people it would employ that would return income taxes to the coffers. I get
so frustrated with how countries that were once deemed second world are
undertaking these great feats, bridges, tunnels, high speed rail/trains, we
in the UK/USA should still have this determination. We pay taxes and they
are required.
