以前待过的几个实验室都是用的CEE 200
感觉非常好用
但是学校的policy，purchasing的人要bid
而且他们找到了另外一个 Laurell WS-400E-6NPP的spin coater
看照片感觉机器比较cheap
但是价钱也要便宜一半
不知道有没有人有用过的经验？

Now we get replies from Brewer Science (Cee 100 or Cee 200) and Laurell
Technologies. We want to know what parameters we need to concern or which
brand is better or what parts are consumable.

parameters
For school or for industry? What kind of application?
For my limited experience, spin coaters are solidly build. I coated silane
and carbohydrates with a old model before on Si and silica surfaces, it
works by applying both spinning and vaccum.
Cheaper way is to find sth spinning and attach sample on it.
Expensive way is to buy one that can control speed, vaccum, temperature
precisely. And the size of the sample might be a factor of which model to
buy as well.... |

滴在spin coater上的溶液体积知道，
然后旋转、溶剂挥发后得到薄膜直径也可测出，
这样厚度可以估算出了。
不过你要精确的厚度，还是得用那篇文章说的方法吧 |

SEM以前往样品上镀金或Au/Pt的办法. MSE的实验室里有coater, 很容易的.
做以前要把载玻片表层的Tyflon(好像是这个词吧, 是一层Polymer,大概用来使玻片对
水浸润的)去掉, 不然金属附着不好. |

不飞溅是因为SEM chamber要抽真空到10-7
如果有粉末就被抽走了
到trap或者pump里面
sputter coater是不怕飞溅的
我觉得你的coating如果足够厚是可以压的住样品的
何况carbon tape也是念的
我的样品是small particle
也不会飞溅
问问你们staff general prep ba |

一般大家都是要多大的substrate，做的膜厚度在什么范围，转速的范围是多少？

我们实验室用的是headway research Inc的photoresist spinner。转速最高一般用
3500，它实际应该比3500大。厚度嘛，要看溶液的浓度和转速了。和wafer接触的那部
分是可以换的，有的可以转很大的wafer，有的只能转很小的。我们实验室就能转很小
的，大到8inch的。隔壁实验室只能转1×1cm2.他们的是可以换的那种，他们把可以换
的底座弄丢了。 |
